What litre bags do the sizes correspond to?

Thank you for your question.I bought mine(medium size) to cover a rucksack that is 50 litres.Tatonka site sizes for rain covers are:XS: 20-30 lS: 30-40 lM: 40-55 lL: 55-70 lXL: 70-80 lXXL: 80-100 lRemember that when Tatonka says 50 litres, these are real litres.A lot of manufacturers overestimate the capacity of their rucksacks.I suggest you to check your pack before order.

I want to use these for case waterproof protection on my car luggage rack If the case is 50 high 35 wide x 20 deep. What size would I need to order.

I would not use this on a roof rack - this is waterproof, but only ripstop nylon, far too light. Get an inexpensive waterproof cover/ tarpaulin - much tougher and probably with eye holes as well!

As a guide I have a 65 litre sack for which the medium is OK and also a 35 litre for which I use a small size. If yours is 85 litres I would suggest one size larger than the medium - possibly large.

which one should I buy for a 70l backpack? thanks! :)

70-80 rain cover is huge , I'm 5'6 and covers half of me . Just tried 20-30l cover over a 65l rucksack, it fits but it's is empty. If there is a 30-40l cover go for that size. Hope this helps
