Amazon Basics Ultra Paper Plates, 10 Inch, Disposable, 100 Count, Packaging May Vary

Love these for the price! Normally I get Walmarts off brand but this is so much better quality and delivery right to my door! Love how sturdy and leakproof they are and ease of use for party friendly events or everyday use; very versatile!

Nice paper plates! They’re sturdy enough to hold two fairly heavy sweet potatoes safely in one hand, they have a waxy layer so liquid and gravy don’t soak into the plate. The design is nice. For the price and the quantity alone, I’ll keep ordering these!

These plates are pretty and very sturdy for paper plates, also more affordable than what I was purchasing at the supermarket.

Although these do seem a little pricey, I think they are worth it. I used to buy the cheapest paper plates (uncoated) for a couple of reasons. First, they were less expensive, and second, I have been forced to purchase the more expensive, coated paper plates. I found that, using the uncoated, it was easy to separate each plate from one another. I use the wicker style paper plate holders, so I initially put 15-25 of these plates in a stack on the plate holder and, as I use them, I take the used one off and throw it away. With the coated plates I find that they are coated with a waxy coating that causes the plates to stick together and they are very difficult to separate one from the next. So often I would wind up throwing away half of the package of paper plates because they stuck together and couldn't be separated. However, the uncoated plates had their own problem. If I was having anything with a sauce (spaghetti, baked beans, even salad with dressing), the sauce would soak through as many as 4 or 5 plates, which then had to be thrown away. These Amazon Basics plates eliminate both of these issues. With the cheaper coated plates, it seemed to me that the manufacturers didn't give enough drying time after coating the plates before they stacked them up. Whatever the coating is that's used, it seems to need time to dry before stacking the plates or else they stick together like glue. These Basics plates use a different type of coating that doesn't cause it to stick to the next plate on the stack. They are also very resistant to absorbing any liquids or sauces from the foods, to the point where, with the simple pass of a disinfecting wipe, the plate could be used multiple times resulting in a net savings in the long run. And no, I'm not so cheap as to want to get more than one use out of every plate I use, but it is nice to know that it's possible.

These plates are not that strong, strong but not that strong. I won’t buy them again.

Plates are of good quality. Not extra heavy but thick enough for most foods. So far they seem to be leak proof. I haven’t used in microwave so can’t speak on that. Easy to use and good value.

We love these plates. Very strong and sturdy! No problems with them leaking, and they are big enough to alot of food. Highly recommended!
