Logitech Slim Folio iPad 10th gen A16 Integrated Wireless Keyboard

I was torn on what I should get for my iPad to protect it and allow it to be used more like a laptop. I have been using this now for both work and home use for about 6 months and its fantastic. The keyboard layout is comfortable and natural feeling. The plastic is solid and protects the device adequately. The weight is what you’d expect from an add on accessory. Setup is as simple as adding any other Bluetooth device. Its a good value.

It is very hard to find a decent, inexpensive, keyboard case these days. In the past my go to brand was INCASE but over the years they ceased making iPhone and iPad cases. ZAGG was my next go-to maker of keyboard cases but from reading reviews it seems their quality has slipped over the years. I recently tried an Otterbox for my new A16 iPad but while it did offer great coverage it was just too bulky for my needs and it had no keyboard case option. Then I found Logitech! I looked through their many different offering of keyboard cases and found one that suited my needs perfectly: Logitech Slim Folio Case. I didn't need a keyboard case with a build in trackpad as I have a Logitech Pebble Mouse 2 M350s which pairs well with this keyboard case. The keyboard case offer full protection on all edges while still offering access to the USB-C port as well as volume and Touch ID button. The iPad connects to the keyboard via the magnetic contacts and holds good. It is a little floppy but not so bad you notice. The case runs off of two CR2032 batteries; so it requires no separate charging. While that might seem like an inconvenience for some I think it's a better option than worrying about charging both my iPad and keyboard case. The keys feel great when typing and the build quality is what you would come to expect from Logitech. Simple and direct and reliable. I love the design and feel it will hold up for the life of my iPad as long as I take good care of it. Nothing is obscured or blocked and the sound quality while is not compromised. The keys are not backlit unfortunately but I do not see that as a problem except if I'm writing in the dark and need to find a function key. However, my last iPad keyboard case wasn't backlit and it managed me fine for over five years. I do recommend this case if you are looking for a quality build keyboard case that costs much less than an Apple brand. I feel this is going keep me happy for a long time and serve me well when I travel.

This is exactly what I wanted. A nice case that easily opened and closes and a good protection for my new iPad. The keyboard is a soft touch and easy to use. I highly recommend it.

Do not buy. They shipped me a product that has obvious evidence of a previous returned or restocked item. The SN is smeared. You cannot have it replaced through Amazon, either. I was online chatting with Logitech for half an hour and the guy had no clue what he was talking about or understanding what I was talking about. Terrible.

I like the keyboard. One problem - The batteries died within 3 weeks - replacing the batteries are a pain and the YouTube video did not match my case. My case has screws, which need a very small screw driver. I had to purchase CR2032 batteries from Amazon - they were not very expensive.

This is an amazing iPad case/computer. Really strong, but somehow I broke my last one. This is my second time ordering the exact same case because I like it so much. Good quality and nice keys as well. Don’t worry about how dirty my screen is though 😭.

This is an excellent keyboard and case for the iPad A16 (aka 11th gen). It fits the iPad perfectly, and the keyboard action is very good -- crisp and not mushy. The keyboard layout is well designed, and the keyboard settings key (bottom left with a globe icon) is a nice touch, making it easy to switch the keyboard mapping for typing in different languages. I've only had it 8 months and battery usage seems normal. Since 2012 I've owned 3 iPads, and each time got a Logitech keyboard case and each time they've been great. My wife has tended to keyboards made by the iPad manufacturer (not naming names) and hasn't had as good an experience.

Connection difficulties: It took me quite a while to connect the keyboard to my iPad. I followed all the steps in the manual, which by the way it does not mention you also need to click enter while pairing, but it wouldn’t connect at first. The setup was frustrating. No backlighting: The keyboard has no backlight, which makes it very difficult to use in low-light conditions. While filming a video to show the pairing issue, I realized I couldn’t see the keys at all. Folding design issues: The description photos shows that the keyboard can be folded to use the iPad in tablet mode, but in practice, the two parts don’t align properly—the section where the iPad attaches and the keyboard base stick out differently. Forcing it feels risky, as it seems like the flexible part connecting the iPad and the keyboard could break. Battery and port confusion: The product description mentions a three-year battery life, but it’s unclear where the battery is since the keyboard is powered by the iPad. There is also no USB-C port, which makes this information confusing. I doubt it has a battery since is too lightweight. Material texture, color quality and the keyboard section design are nice. Overall, while it can work in “laptop mode,” these issues make it less convenient than expected, especially if you plan to use it in tablet mode or in low-light conditions.

Very disappointed with this product. Most of the keys on the keyboard do not match their function. It's an enraging experience to use it…

I have been a Logitech user for ever, since the late 1980's. I don't recall ever having trouble with any of their products (well maybe the CyberMan but I know I was not alone). Got the Slim Folio for my iPad 10th gen and it certainly honours the quality tradition I have come to expect from this company. It's quite sturdy and the keyboard... Oh the keyboard. I used the Apple Keyboard Folio on another iPad a few years ago. While the Apple product was a membrane keyboard, the Slim Folio is actually a real keyboard which is super comfortable to use. Things to keep in mind if you are planning to purchase this product : - It does add a bit of bulk. It's actually thrice as thick as the iPad itself so if you don't like bulky case this one is not for you. However it does product the table from all sides so there's that. - The keyboard is NOT backlighted. - There is no trackpad. I resolved this by pairing a mouse. But you can absolutely use it with no mouse of course. - The keyboard is Bluetooth and it's not rechargeable. It uses two CR2032 coin batteries. Logitech claims they will provide three years worth of power. All in all an excellent product which I will be using for years to come. EDIT : I actually returned the Slim Folio and got the Combo Touch. The fact that the Slim Folio’s keyboard was not backlighted was kind of a hindrance to me. Plus I found it unconfortable to hold the iPad with the keyboard folded back. The Combo Touch solved both of these problems and also I find the iPad very confortable to hold without the detachable keyboard. The case does not add that much bulk. Much happier with the Combo Touch.

Es súper genial, no se batalla con las teclas a pesar de que vienen en inglés, acento y demás están ubicados en la misma posición, para los que tenemos práctica escribiendo en teclado, no causa mayor problema. El diseño es muy elegante y además protege al iPad. El precio, de lo mejor para la calidad que tiene.
