ContinentalRace 28 700 x 20-25c Inner Tubes - Long Presta 80mm Valve (Pack of 2), Black

Bought as my new 23mm turbo trainer tyre required a thinner tube than in the original 28mm tyre. These were a quick and easy option and did the job.They do have an exceptionally long valve stem, clearly made for very deep rims. They do still work on my older more traditional depth rims though, the valve stem just sticks out a long way and looks a little daft. Not really an issue when the bike is permanently on a turbo trainer.

Terrible product. The rubber is too thin and easily punctured. I have had a faulty one that split around the valve without riding anywhere. I have put on lots of inner tubes and these just aren’t worth the risk. The fit ok but Don’t waste your money, you can buy cheaper and stronger inner tubes at half the cost.

I particularly wanted inner tubes with removable valve cores because I like to fill my tubes with Slime. These fit the bill perfectly!

The inner tube works fine, but I do wish the valve were a little bit larger that way I could use it as a walking stick when I inevitably crash because of a flat tire. I hate wasting things, even when they’re broken!

Beware! The valve core is a real problem on these long stems - if you screw on the pump (none of my clamp-on pumps fit so I have to use an old style screw-on pump), then unscrew again at the end, the valve core has a tendency to unscrew itself with the pump and lets all the air out! The inner itself is fine if you can just negotiate this one issue though.
