Better sound at a great price
I was impressed how much better my record player sounded after I replaced my old needle. Very easy to snap into place. Perfect for suitcase record players.

Great
Worked and fit exactly as it should, record played without an issue and it was easy to install. It should work with any standard record player, and it feels durable enough.

Great replacement needle!!
So I bought a NuMark PT-01 USB powered record player from Guitar Center. It charges via USB port and has a battery inside. Anyway, Guitar Center for some stupid reason doesn't carry the needles for it go figure. I haven't been able to listen to my albums for a few months now because I didn't feel like searching for a needle for it. I finally decided to pick up this one and my albums sound like new again. On the old worn needle, I was starting to think there was something wrong with the player the sound was so bad. On this new needle, the sound is clear and loud and crisp again, like when I first got the player!!! I can't recommend this enough. I put one on the player and have an extra for when that one goes bad! I'll be ordering these exclusively when I need a new needle and can't recommend it enough. 5 stars!! Edit: Don't listen to the guy saying this needle causes skips. It does not. My records do not skip at all and sound amazing. Maybe he needed to clean his albums or some other issue was at play, but this works great with my record player. Just wanted to say that after reading his review. Later!

Found a needle in a haystack
Easy to install: Yes! The instructions will guide you on how to remove the previous stylus while giving you instructions on how to add the new stylus. If that isn't enough, you can look up a tutorial on youtube and have someone show you vs reading instructions. 5/5 Sound Quality: The stylus works and DOES pick up just as any other stylus would. As far as quality, it depends on the record player, the stylus and the speakers. All of these work with one another, obviously. This is just you're standard beginner's stylus. 4/5 Value for money: 2 for 10 dollars? Not bad; that's 5 dollars each, and you're looking at a product that will last you for a few years, or at least a temporary replacement. 5/5 Overall: 4/5 stars. I would suggest that if you're wanting to maximize you're audio quality, with appropriate long lasting, QUALITY made stylus, you may want to go to Audio-Technica. This product achieves the practical use for a stylus/needle, but, there are certainly better. The price is fair, the quality of the product, fair, and a free case is nice. But if you're wanting more out of your stylus, you may want to keep looking.

Diamond makes a Difference
If you’re using this needle, let’s face it: you don’t have an enthusiast HiFi system. You, like me, have a suitcase player or something equally nostalgic. This diamond stylus was a huge sound improvement in both clarity and tracking. It beats anything I’ve used out of the box at this level.

Not a diamond stylus
Not sure how harsh to be - it’s not a diamond stylus, but I suppose one shouldn’t expect such for a low-cost needle model meant for a low-cost suitcase phono player (naive or wishful me). Still, false advertising gives buyers false hope that they’re getting a better needle that lasts 8x longer and conducts heat away like a synthetic diamond. Anyway, microscope picture tells the story: purchased needle on left, spare Victrola needle on right - both synthetic rubies. I imagine the signal pickup is comparable to a diamond (rubies are pretty hard), and purchased model looks more tapered, so it might go deeper in groove and pick up higher frequencies. Otherwise, wear is where most will see difference and lower than expected results (amateur comment). Still, the arm holding the stylus is metal instead of plastic as in dirt-cheap stylus, so will have better transmission of phono vibrations through it and have better fatigue handling. Change your ruby needles every 40-50 hrs of use…🫤 P.S: I never found a diamond stylus for this design of stylus, BTW - which makes sense based on first sentence above, so give up the hunt.
