Packaged very very well, the hardest part of the whole assembly is getting it unpacked! Very easy to assemble, even with the paper directions it comes with, there are videos available if needed. The machine itself is a low on the floor basic rower, no frills but works very well. I have long legs, 34” inseam and it fits me very well, seat never reaches the end of the rails. It is very quiet except for the water sloshing sound which is very therapeutic. Sounds like rowing a boat on a lake. Folds up easily and as listing says it takes up about the same amount of space as a dining chair. Smooth roller blade style wheels, will not damage wood floors. Excellent base model rower, very happy with it.

I wasn’t sure what to expect with this product given the price point. I was very impressed with how well it was packed in the box, how easily it assembled and what an awesome workout this product provides! I love kayaking and to use this rowing machine and get the added serenity of hearing the water slosh as you row is relaxing! I am enjoying getting my morning workout with this rowing machine while playing a POV rowing video on YouTube! I would highly recommend this product!

I love how this full-size rowing machine folds easy to stow in my bedroom, and unfolds almost as well for use. It has all the features I wanted (solid foot pedals, room to reach forward to complete stroke, adjustable resistance and self-adjusting resistance with speed). It was not too expensive, and not too hard to put together. The water rushing sound is very relaxing, and the quality of exercise unbeatable.That said, this machine arrived with four ugly holes drilled into the wood, and having read in other reviews holes needed to be re-drilled, I went crazy looking for screws and fittings to make things work. Finally I realized that there were good holes in the right place, and just covered over the unsightly mess with some contac paper.If I had not had previous experience with Merach, I would have returned the machine and sought a replacement. But, having purchased a prior, more expensive machine that did not do what they claimed (fold), I knew that there customer service bends over backwards to not accommodate customers, so I kept the machine I had.I honestly wish this machine was the one I picked first, because it does everything I need in a tiny space. I searched a long time to find something that works well at home without taking up too much space, and this is the best choice for me.

Love it! Easy to put together. It takes a bit of time to get all the screws in, but nothing difficult at all. It's very quiet and smooth, the swooshing water sound is lovely but not too loud. I live in an upstairs apartment and am always very careful not to be a noisy menace, so a treadmill wasn't going to work, but I needed something for when it's too hot to go outside. Folds right in half when you lift the bar in the middle. Seems very sturdy and well made. It is exactly what I was hoping for!

The BEST money I've spent on my personal fitness, excellent quality.Only takes minutes to assemble.The foot holder could be wider at bottom for sneakers but I just use it barefoot.An hour a day and I'm showing fantastic gains in just days.I couldn't be happier with my purchase, definitely recommend.

Cons:-I am an average size person and the stirrups are barely big enough for my workout shoes. I have doubts that a person with size 10+ (US male) shoes would be able to use them without modification. Feels like this part is made for abnormally small people.-I hit the near-side (closer to feet) limit device all the time, resulting in an annoying knocking sound. Feels like this part is made for abnormally tall (long-legged) people.-It came with some strange USB and/or battery powered water pump and some tubing you are supposed to use to fill it? Should have given me a cheap plastic funnel instead, this is wasteful and necessary.Pros:-Easy to assemble-Looks even better than what the pics show. Wood is a deeper red.-Folds up nicely, as advertised.-Other than my gripes about feeling like I am both too tall and too short for the various pieces of this thing, it does the job of being a rowing machine.

I'm enjoying the use of the R28, it was easy to assemble, operate smoothly with minimum noise. My only concern is the tension level, even at the maximum fill level the resistance might not be a challenge for some.

One of the best things I've purchased on amazon. My job gave us a $300 voucher for health related purchases and I wanted a water rowing machine. As it turns out, you don't need one that costs $1800! This thing is awesome and sturdy. Very easy and straightforward to put together. I followed the video the QR code provides. I was literally watching Netflix while assembling this. I use it daily and it's a great workout. Resistance is dependent on how full the tank is. It folds upNicely on wheels and doesn't look tacky if you need to tuck it in a corner of your living room (which I do). If you're thinking of a rowing machine, get this one! You can watch tv or listen to music and it's an excellent workout. It's a quality product. I'm happy with it.
