Incredible Speed
Paired with a Samsung 990 evo plus 4tb drive. Installing an ssd is extremely easy. A little pricey but the speed and ability to quickly swap put ssd's kinda make up for it.I was able to.move a 520GB folder from an M4 Macbook Pro to the ssd in THREE MINUTES. Solid aluminum build worh a silent fan. So far no heat issues, it just functions as advertised and given how easy it is to swap ssd's the storage is unlimited.

A great little external drive enclosure.
Came with everything needed to install a SSD. I’ve only had it for a couple of weeks but it appears to be fast and works well with my new Mac Mini.

Fast read >3000 MBPS, but slow write 500 MBPS
I don't know if I just got a defective adapter or not. I'm using it with a Samsung 990EVO drive. The exact same drive in a USB3 enclosure has both read and write speeds over 1000 MBPS plugged into the same port on my computer.
