Light and accurate very useful little ruler

Some important aspects are: The markings are indented/stamped/pressed, not lazer etched or painted. The steel is ridgid, making it slightly less convenient in some applications, but on the other hand giving it in my opinion longer lifespan potential. The corners are slightly rounded over making it much more pocketable than other rules and squares I have used. Along the edges are de-bured, but can still be a little sharp, so I recommend using a high-grit flat diamond stone and just taking the edge off a little. Conclusion: Overall, this extremely cute mini square in my opinion offers high performance, great build quality, and is a much more useful and versatile tool than you might at first think. In my case, particularly when measuring and marking joint layouts or even drafting.

Sturdy works well.

I have just about every Shinwa measuring tool and they are without doubt my go-to choice. This square was almost surplus to my needs but it fits into my ruler, vernier, and protractor set perfectly. Accurate, well engineered, and a recommended necessity.
