Not only would I recommend the Yukon 6-100X100 Spotting Scope, I would strongly recommend, if you're buyingit, buy a suitable tripod and, at the same time, buy the optional fitment for attaching your camera. Here's why;Firstly, attatch the scope to the tripod and get everything set up. Then, using the camera attachment, attach your camera. This will enable you to then view everything on the camera screen instead of having to look through the eyepiece. You can zoom in and out with no shaking and without losing clarity of the subject matter. I belong to an organisation where I have to look out to sea most days and view along the coastline aswell. This morning I was able to read, quite clearly the name on a vessle that was 6 miles out to sea. So to say I'm pleased with my purchase would be an understatement and I highly recommend it.
