It is very sturdy. The materials are very substantial. It's quick to set up and tear down. I conducted my own "tip" testing and concluded it didn't tip over very easily for my purposes. These are great stands in my opinion. They allowed me to hang lighting on a stage very easily as opposed to tripods, where legs would be an eye sore and create tripping hazards and take up a lot of stage space. These poles only go up to eight feet and at that height I wouldn't put very heavy loads at the top.

This product is well crafted. Beware, it is heavy, though, hahaha. I recommend purchasing the carrying bags that are offered. I use this at events for my video lights. I love that it has a small footprint; people can step over it without worrying "much" about tripping. It is raised off the floor a smidge, so it is still a tripping hazard, but less of a hazard than tripod legs. This store has a 20% restocking fee on some of their products, but before you empty your shopping cart, read my story. I ordered a large and heavy product and later decided to return the merchandise. I was working out of town at a wedding and realized that my return window was closing in several days. I reached out through Amazon, but calling was better for me and the seller to communicate effectively. I was provided a phone number to contact the seller directly, which was very beneficial. Amazon does a great job, but speaking to someone sometimes is more valuable. I was bummed about the 20% restocking fee. But after giving it more thought and thinking about what it costs a small company, compared to BestBuy, to handle returns, I allowed myself to gain a grounded understanding. But, the lovely lady Dina, messaging me through Amazon and providing her extension, made me feel much better. I spoke with Dina, and let me tell you, she cares about the customer. In my case, I am returning a $479 product that weighs 60 lbs and costs them approximately $60 to ship. Once they receive the product, it takes resources to inspect it, re-enter it into their inventory database, and possibly find space in the warehouse to stock the returned item because they may have ordered more inventory since selling me the product. Without the 20% restocking fee, returns will eat away at their bottom line, especially the returns for products sold via Amazon. If you are reading this review, I want you to feel confident that you will receive an excellent product from this store. If you wish to return the product, consider speaking with their customer service representative over the phone for an enhanced customer service experience.

Needed this stand for an event this weekend. Was sent a very clearly used stand that was missing the pole. The stand has been used, a lot. Very disappointed that this would even be shipped.

I own 3 of these. They are great quality stands I use for lighting, projectors, & for video streaming our church Masses.
