The part of the plug that fits into the 3DS does not fit. Way too much wiggle room and probably why its not charging. Either way product does not do what it says its supposed to.UPDATE: Just received a new replacement charger and it works great, just as it is supposed to. Must have been a defect with the first one. We didn't even know we were being shipped a replacement for the original order but it made my daughters day. Thanks for the outstanding customer service. ### ⭐⭐ Cheap and lousy adapter *by L***Y on Reviewed in the United States on February 21, 2015* The adapter quit working after about 3 weeks of use. I took it apart and found the soldering to be just terrible. Re-soldered the connection cable and it works intermittently.
