Good replacement for our stage light
we purchased this light bulb to replace our old porcelain stage lights. The quality of this LED replacement is very good. nice sturdy body and is very bright. but only produce very light heat and consumes way less energy.We have 14 lights that hangs from the ceiling in our church. So these lights replaced the original light. very happy with the result. Now the biggest question is how long will these last until they burned out.

Good product - review your fixtures before you replace halogens
If you are replacing existing halogens with these, please assure your power supply is compatible!!!packaging: excellent; size and fit as a replacement for MR16 halogen; excellent; Color: excellent; Appearance: we have them in fixtures that expose the bulb and the appearance is excellent; Reliability: I originally incorrectly rated these as marginal because after a couple weeks we had a 1 in 4 start to flicker - but then I noticed it was fixture specific - and found it was a power supply problem. Your existing halogen fixtures probably have a power supply for a much higher wattage bulb and may sense the low wattage LED as a failed bulb and shutoff - causing the flicker. Fortunately I did not throw the flickering LEDs out, and after replacing the transformers with a transformer rated to the LED, all the previously flashing LEDs are now excellent.

Failed in under 1 year!
We had two of these fail in less than 1 year. We expected to get years of service form this LED light. Obviously a poorly made product. This was used indoors, so it was not subject to extreme weather.
