Great product
Works very well and the ports will charge a phone, tablet, etc… fast.

Added ports for 27" iMac 4K
I have had several hubs and most have been ok, but transfer speeds were less than stellar. This one is finally adequate in transfer speeds. A good assortment of ports, as well as a power switch. A touch more expensive than most others, but I guess you get what you pay for. It is powered, so you need an outlet, but it allows for charging at any time.

Works as it is should for the niche, but not perfect
SUMMARY VERDICT================The moral of the story, know YOUR niche and use case. A good niche device, does what is says, but it is not the best match for everyone. For my use-cases, this filled the bill close enough for 4 stars. - desktop extension for a stationary desk and computer - provided more ports and closer to my workstation for convivence - charge via USC 3/C/PD ports independent of PC state - PD (power only) slots for charging faster - Externally Powered to meet the above.LIKES:======72W Brick Power Supply -- Yes, a brick. If your goal includes charging two devices at up to 24w of power each, you should know using normal USB-x is not enough and will require external power (even if coming through cable). I expressly looked for external powered hubs so power can be available 100% of the time at level for the PD port charging and other USB charging. This is important, as this device is not the best fit for you if your needs are other, IMO.2 PD Ports - (Power Only) Ports seem to cap at about 2A, so reaching 24 watts per PD port is close but a tad under. For my needs, fine, I am happy. My Samsung phones charge at High-Speed (18w, not Super-High 25w) and for giggles, I tested my Lenovo laptops – the reported 45w cap is not shared/spanned that I can tell. Verdict - works as advertised, including the LEDs rates -- which I verified with a tester. Max is nearer to 24w per PD port as stated.3 USB-C ports - worked for me eventually. My 1st unit had a hiss with these 3 ports on arrival, prompting an exchange for a replacement. I did not do meaningful data throughput testing. For me, this device is a DESKTOP EXTENSION for easier accessing ports as both a PC extension; and to provide non-PC dependent charging at level. So, I am happy I can use the all 5 USB-C ports to charge; and only have 3 ports to connect USB-C stuff [PD are not data ports, expected]. These USB-C port are not video rated ports, as stated [expected]. This is not a DisplayLink type of hub - so no monitors [expected].4 USB-A Ports - Worked, no issues for me (Windows 11). Allowed me to connect things as needed for convivence; AND I can always charge at full USB 3.x rates since it is externally powered [e.g., happy brick].DEVICES/SPEEDS - No data speeds tested, I am hooking up general devices like streaming deck, speakers, webcams, gaming inputs devices, and occasionally a thumb drive or two. I have NOT tested hard data transfers like M2 to M2 drive cloning..., so no comments on big speeds. Functionally fine with the devices that I connected.LEDs - indicators light-up with an ACTIVE connection, nice, fwiw. The wattage readouts for the PD ports are cool, and accurate enough per my tester. I now have another way to test/confirm wattage. Nice to have anyway for glancing things.Power Button - Not a deal maker/breaker for me, but useful to cool the hub down after it gets warm (e.g., at full power) or just to reduce power usage to zero w/o disconnecting -- viola... you have a button. Likely more useful for dropping a laptop down and connecting and powering on/off as needed with connect/disconnect. For my always connected workstations, less useful.DISLIKES=======1. Fixed Cable - This is not a portable device. The Power Brick is too large for mobility and there are other versions for that use case. I personally view as desktop hub that you can attach to laptops/PCs to expand devices coverage and charge at the same time. For laptop use, maybe having a fixed cable reduces stress at the hub-end and is one less thing to track/connect. HOWEVER, for a permanent desktop set-up, the 24" fixed cable hinders exact placement for large desks [not expected]. I have my cable management pre-set, with high-end/speed C-to-C cables exactly where I want hidden (72" desk) and exiting grommets very managed. Sadly, for me, only when the hub arrived had I realized the device-end is fixed and does not connect via a female connector [like many hubs]. OK, that is on me. BUT this highlights the design gap... is not really mobile, and is more lined up for a drop-down laptop used at a fixed desk... Having a fixed connection that hinders some set-ups by limiting flexibility and impacting aesthetics... The cable is 24 inch black hardwired into the hub. For me, this is limiting -- all my PC direct connections, for example, use red cables; 24in is too short to run/hide. So, this would only be an annoyance depending on your set-up. I ended up getting a high-speed coupler, so that is +$8 for me.2. Active Power only – This is Part II of Fixed Cable dislike. If the design supported a passive or Pass-Thru use mode (e.g., no external power), AND if the hub were not hardwired… the hub could be easily b e disconnected for on-the-go for non-powered use at a USB extension (no PD)… however it does not work without external power at all. For the price, that would have been nice. Less of an issue for me, since my use case is to leave fixed at my desk.3. Returned first (near DOA) - My first until was not completely DOA, but the noise it made was not acceptable. Did not see the issue as a trend in comments, so I exchanged. Support was around, so that is a plus, but I had some mixed feelings about their overall responsiveness. I was glad they responded and engaged - but ultimately Amazon features made the return quick/easy. As for the manufacture, I have to buy more good to get a future discount as Love for the Pain I endured. Meh, I exchanged too fast apparently. Device #2 has been solid to date.

Buy it.
Bought it to replace a shorted USB hub and I think it is well designed and well built. This hub is easy to use and can charge all the electronic devices in your home. Well worth buying. Overall, a great value for the price. I also like. I'm glad I bought it.

Nicely Made but Not for an Apple M1 Mac Mini
This product is nicely made and well presented by the seller. I wanted it to work. But unfortunately, our Apple Mac M1 Mini just refused to accept it. It is not detected or available to the computer. So I cannot comment on its functionality, or performance as it transferred exactly 0Bytes of anything. It quite simply would not register. So we reluctantly sent it back to the Amazon. I am pretty sure this will work well for a PC, but unfortunately, all our PCs have port expanders already. We resolved the problem in the end by buying one of the more expensive Mac-specific port solutions. So while we don't recommend for Mac Mini users based on our experience, we would recommend PC users consider it in their determinations.
