I contacted the seller who imformed me that it does turn into a solid if it goes below a certain temperature. They was happy to refund me if I wanted a refund. I left the bottle in the airing cupboard and it softened it up. After washing and conditioning my hair I squirt a small amount and stick it at the back of my hair (to stop it knotting up) and I coat the ends to protect them. I have relatively long layered hair that I dye regularly, this has caused it to become brittle over the years so I have been trying many products to protect my hair and getting it back to its silky look. Not only does the product do this, it also leaves my hair with a kind of "sun kissed beach look" which I feel is an added bonus. Please only put a bit of this product on your hair to avoid it looking greasy, unless you are leaving it on overnight for a deep condition and washing it out in the morning.
