Strings are good. The sound is amazing, deep, and vivid

The strings not only look awesome but the sound is great too. Came earlier than promised and impressed everyone in our band. Now I'm ordering more for others! Also a personal, handwritten "Thank you!" on the receipt was an added bonus.

At first I was reticent about getting color-coated strings, for fear that they'd have a loss in tone and feel "fake" under my fingers. I have a quite psychedelic finish on my acoustic, so I figured I'd take the risk and get some matching colorful strings - if they didn't live up, then I'd just toss them away and go back to my Elixirs. Boy, was I wrong! Amazingly, these strings have a bright and full tone, and remain bright and full for as long as my Elixirs have! I've had these for a while now and play several hours a day with them and haven't noticed any change in tone - it's just as bright as the colors they're made of! Talking about the colors, they glow in black light and have a blazing neon intensity in sunlight. You can see the colors from far away and lend a really cool vibe to your guitar. My only issue with the strings is that they begin to lose a little color in certain areas - mainly where you pick and where the fret touches the string. After a lot of playing they begin to lose their brilliant shine, but that was entirely expected. They haven't chipped or given me any issues other than that though!

For the first time buying guitar strings and stringing my guitar this process went smooth. String 1 is very thin so some of the color comes off but the sound is REALLY is good. I noticed the difference after my guitar settled with tuning.

I haven't used these yet but I have more than one guitar and the one I've been playing I'm about to change the strings but I'm not putting these on that guitar got the coated ones I think it was the snake skin or something like that but these have five star and I needed some strings when I bought some other strings of the ones that are you know like elixirs they were very expensive but I used to buy another coat it when I can't remember what they were and I couldn't find them so I bought some Ernie balls they were cheap and they're still strings I don't like them I don't like the sound of them or the tone of those strings but you know you do what you do when that's all the money you got so these have a five stars so I ordered some but I really haven't used it but I put five star because they all had good ratings and it'll be all right you know if they're good and I like them good I'll buy more but if not I'll keep searching or maybe I'll find what I used to have but anyway you know you just try it and see but like I said it had five star rating stuff at 5 star rating and I am going to put it on My Guitar but I haven't really been playing it to where those strings out yet cuz like I said I got more than one guitar thank you

These strings have an amazing sound and feel... BUT lets just say if you're hoping the color lasts don't count too much on it. I installed these on a Monday and noticed on Tuesday that the color where I pick was already flaking off and I havent really played on them much. For the money I guess one might say they are a decent value BUT keep in mind that the colors wont last long. The function is great and they fit well on my Yamaha APX600, It's just discouraging that after one day of playing it the color is already flaking off. I don't play with a hard pick either usually just finger strumming or a light pick that's really flexible I just feel that for the price you'd be better off just buying regular strings as the color "coating" is more of a gimmick.

These are awesome strings! I love the sound and the look on my white acoustic guitar. A lil easier on the fingertip callouses too for those that are beginners and working through the pain! Don’t give up!!

Coolest strings i have ever had. Usually put the DR Blacks on my acoustic because of the mellow sound combo, but these are somehow bright, loud and mellow at the same time, without losong that light feeling of the strings. Plus the glow.... and the coating is better than the blask coating on the others. Does not seem to flake. Feel great. Easy to install.

I got the DR Neon Green acoustic guitar strings, and I have to say – these are seriously impressive. The tone is crazy – bright, clear, and full of character.
