Does the job
I bought this along with some ear plugs for my son’s swimming lessons. The head band does the job, it keeps the plugs in place as at the stage he’s at, they are not wearing a swimming hat

Ideal for swimming with hearing aids in
I ordered this for a friend who goes sea swimming, she wears hearing aids.I hoped this would mean she can keep them in whilst swimming. She says they're actually more useful for keeping her ears warm!I think she still removes her hearing aids, but these ear covers are comfortable and warm, without being cumbersome. They're also great for keeping your hair out of the way.I'm going to treat myself to some too.Happy to recommend.

They help….
If I thought that a neoprene band around my ears. Or water ingress, I might be accused of being rather naive. These are quite useful and do protect water ingress when splashing. But if you are going to use them underwater, then you are still going to get water in your ears. That said these are better than the standard fit as I do have a larger side area to cover those with more generous ears.Personally, I’ve had lots of problems with ear infections through swimming pool water. The best solution for me is custom earplugs, swimming or solution and as a third measure, these Hairbands. So far that seems to have worked, fingers crossed.

Sheer Waste of Money
I purchased one of these for my wife who wore it swimming for the first time today. Bought the large size based on age and head measurement but, even worn under a swimming cap, it did not keep water out of hair or ears.

Kept water out and off my bluetooth buds
I sometimes swim laps but not deep in pool and I wear inexpensive Bluetooth ear buds for playing music. I put earbuds in,put ear band on pull it low below my ears , then put swimming cap on over that and pull in low and seal it. I don't do flips to change directions. My waterproof earbuds kept working fine. They didn't get wet. If they did it was no more than if I was running or biking.

Perfect but not so durable
It works very well and is much better and comfortable that those silicone blobs you place on the ear (we combined them, but then realized that only the band was necessary most of the time). However, it does look rather rugger after 3 months of standard use. Granted we went to the sea with it, but only twice and did wash if afterwards. It still WORKS perfectly, just doesn't look good. So for what it is intended, I'll give it a five.

Very cute, comfortable, and effective
This thing is awesome. I scuba dive but the bubbles that come out of my regulator really bother my ears and cause them to ache underwater. This works as a headband to keep my hair out of my face AND it completely protects my ears from the bubbles pushing water/air into my ears! Did not have any issues equalizing pressure in my ears at depth with it on. I love that it’s adjustable; I wear it super tight so my mask can fit snugly on top of it and not move around.I’ve recommended it to several other divers and would say this should work for you if you have trouble with your ears in the water.
