Excellent Alarm
This is the second alarm I have purchased of this type. First one was purchased for my garage and this one for my shed. The alarm is simple to install, just mount the bracket and the alarm unit easily clips into place. The bracket allows the unit to be adjusted for the correct angle to provide good PIR coverage. The unit is easy to setup and the remote in pre-paired meaning the unit can be used straight from the box. The manual is informative and comprehensive. Operation is very simple with enable and disable pushbuttons on the remote. There is no entry or exit delay so the alarm has to be armed/disarmed outside the field of view of the PIR. The remote control is small, seems to be very responsive, can be used at a distance from the alarm and even works through walls etc. Based on the first alarm I purchased the battery life is good, about 4 months of life from three AAA batteries. Batteries are also supplied. The best feature of this alarm is the noise, it is unbelievably loud and just what you need to protect a garage or shed. The build quality is good, it's well made and solid construction. I have had the first alarm for about 12 months now with no issues at all. Overall I'm very pleased with the alarm and I would recommend it.

Great little portable alarm
The alarm is really compact and size and can be positioned on a surface or attached to a wall or ceiling. It comes with screws or sticky pads to attach it. The unit comes with batteries too so you can have it setup in minutes. The setting up process took me less than 1 minute and was really easy. It comes with a chime or alarm to alert you of movements, you just press a button to change it. You can activate/deactivate the alarm with the little fob, this worked from outside the garage with the door shut, this is useful. You can get additional fobs if you need them and these can be paired to the device. I have set it up in my garage but this would work perfectly in a shed, caravan, or a porch to notify you of a movement. I tested it and it works perfectly. The alarm is loud, I did a test during the day and i could hear the alarm clearly from upstairs. It would be even louder in the dead of night. I am really happy with the alarm and I would recommend this as great value for money.

Great product, poor remote control
Remarkably effective for the price. Small and unobtrusive, and yet works effectively and packs quite a noise when it goes off. The remote is wireless so works through doors and walls. And CP Van tell me I can operate it off the mains via an adaptor and micro USB cord, so no need to worry about batteries going flat (I have not tried this yet). Only four stars because there is no entry delay - if you forget to unset it then it goes off immediately you walk into the zone. Also, the remote is wrongly marked. The button marked to unset it is actually the one to change for it chiming to full siren. And vice versa! Plus there is a SOS button which is unnecessary on a simple alarm - and it is at the top and if you hit it accidentally the siren goes off.

Great value diy alarm
I purchased this for £20.79 on a black Friday special promotion. On opening the box I was impressed with the quality of the alarm unit as well as the key fob. It was extremely easy to install you just put in the 3 AAA batteries that are included (You can plug it in to a cigarette lighter if desired) and I stuck it to my vans bulkhead with the self adhesive pad which gives it a really strong fixing. There is 2 modes one that just makes a noise when it detects motion like when you walk in to a shop and the alarm mode. I am impressed with the sensor as it picks me up as I open the rear and side doors of my van. One thing I was very impressed with is that it detected me in the driver cabin of my van even though it is fixed to the back of my bulkhead facing my back doors. The alarm is pretty loud but to be an added deterrent I will try to buy the optional extra speaker that you plug in to increase the volume. This probably doesn't rival a professionally fitted alarm but at the price I don't think you can go wrong. There's also a panic button on the fob that could be helpful for a confrontation. This is also suitable for other applications eg sheds.

Very Loud and a good range with the remote
I have 2 of these and use them to protect different parts of the house. They can be matched to work off the same remote signal but I use them independently. They come already programed so it's just a matter of putting the batteries in and understanding the various mode and volume options. The alarm mode is very loud and I like that but when the battery gets low it emits a loud beep every 40 seconds. Unfortunately as luck would have it my batteries got low in the middle of the night and I have to get out of bed, take the alarm sensor down from the wall and unscrew the battery cover to replace the batteries. There is nothing in the instructions to say if the annoying 40 second beep can be muted without dismantling the alarm and removing the batteries. I've contacted customer service on the matter and despite advertising that they aim to reply in 24 hours they didn't even bother to acknowledge receipt of my email and needless to say my questions remain unanswered.

Dont expect a burglar alarm level of sound
For the price this is a excellent little alarm, the alarm is loud enough to startle an intruder and possibly alert you or someone else to the alarm but I could put up with it long enough to take something near by. It is easy to set, and adjust the settings and to fix in place. On the practical side the alarm does stop and reset itself after 3 mins, but this was not mentioned in the instructions also when you turn it off with the open padlock sign on the keypad you have to reset it with the closed padlock it is supposed to reset to its last setting but this has not happened for me. I have a detached garage and I can just about hear it from the house but at this price point I am considering getting another, If you have a shed or similar in your garden then this would be ideal as a deterrent and for that feeling that you have at least tried to protect your property. Another use would be to set it up by a open back door perhaps, during the summer, on bleep mode to alert you to anything coming in or out ( just a thought )

Bought 2 for my garage - they work as indicated. I have one pointed at my side door and the other at the main bay door, both paired to one remote. Nice and small, easy to install wherever you need them. Alarms are loud and remotes work well (and at a distance). Best things about these: - Remotes are interchangeable with each alarm - You can program multiple alarms to one remote (and multiple remotes to alarm groups). So buying 2 alarms means you can have a spare remote - Alarms can be powered via micro USB (but you must buy your own USB cables to power them). Very handy to avoid battery replacement! If you can, get an "elbow-jointed" micro USB cable as the cord can get in the way of the mount. That said, I positioned mine as needed without issues.

Sometimes, the Motion Sensor Alarm would not arm itself. At other times, the Motion Sensor Alarm would go off even when it wasn't armed.

So far so good. Nice and loud and pretty accurate with detection. Easy to install and comes paired with remote. I have it installed in my garage and it’s sensitive enough to arm and disarm from inside home. There seems to be a USB port on the side, but there’s no instructions on what it’s for. Would be nice if batteries could be recharged from the wall socket. So far weather is not too cold; the real test is in the winter. Overall a well-made product.

Great little safety device to alert you that something has entered your space. Got it for a relative when they are travelling and they liked its sense of protection. Easy to set up. Easy to learn to use. Came with batteries. Small and portable for suitcases. Only real downside is that it is very loud. May scare the sheet out of you if you forget it is turned on and you go to use the bathroom in the night.

Nice reliable alarm for small rooms/storages, pretty loud. I use it with eneloop cells and it lasts several weeks ( stanby + 8hrs armed every day) until next recharge.
