GREAT BOOK
I only started to read it but I can see it's a great book and easy to read. I'm going to buy more books from Elizabeth Ashley. I hope one day she writes books about tee trea oil and camphora oil. Ashley, please, keep writing new books.

A 'deep dive' into Aromythology - captivating, vulnerably honest
As an Aromatherapist I am always interested in books written about essential oils. This one blew my socks off! Elizabeth Ashley has covered the mental, physical, emotional and psycho-spiritual aspects of exploring melissa officinalis also known as lemon balm noted for its heart shaped leaves and bright lemon scent.I felt like I was sitting with a wise woman around a campfire as I read it - sharing her wisdom and experience as a Melissa Bee Priestess. Although the book begins with research on the medical use of the plant, it quickly dives into a Shamanistic dialogue as the plant begins to affect dreams, emotional states and arising ancestral memories. It is a captivating and vulnerably honest read. Elizabeth tracks the ancient myths and their relationship to astrology, health and medicine. She literally 'becomes' the bee Priestess Archetype and as a Shaman storyteller lives through 'hell and back' as she calls it. Can't wait for the sequel!

Great book!
Most books like this I only use for reference but I read the whole book in two days. Such an interesting read and fun at that. I love Elizabeth’s writing style. She makes it fun while still imparting the information. No wonder I have such an affinity for Melissa and bees!
