Simple, elegant, fully featured and just works! :)
I have tried several other smart locks and just love the simplicity of this lock. It just works! Battery lasts long. The app to assign the codes is simple to use and has all the features I need for our short let properties. I also have their video cam, so soon enough I would be entirely over to their ecosystem!

I purchased the Eufy Smart Lock C210 with high expectations, especially since it was advertised as compatible with Google Home/Google Assistantโa key feature that influenced my buying decision. However, after installation, I quickly realized that this feature does not work (see the picture), despite being prominently promoted on both Eufyโs website and Amazon product page. False Advertising and Unfulfilled Promises: The product description clearly states that this lock works with Google Home, yet after multiple troubleshooting attempts and direct communication with Eufy support, it became evident that this claim was completely misleading. The company even acknowledged this in their responses, confirming that the C210 is not compatible with Google Home, contradicting their own promotional material. Frustrating and Inadequate Customer Support: After reporting the issue to Eufyโs customer support, I expected a reasonable solutionโperhaps an exchange for a model that actually includes the advertised functionality. Instead, the only resolution offered was returning the lock, which is completely impractical during freezing winter months when removing a front door lock is not a simple task. Final Verdict โ AVOID if Google Home Compatibility is Important: This experience has been incredibly frustrating. I trusted Eufy as a reliable brand, but this situation has demonstrated a lack of commitment to customer satisfaction and a refusal to take full responsibility for misleading consumers. If you are purchasing this lock expecting Google Home compatibility, DO NOT BUY IT. The product does not work as advertised, and Eufyโs support team will not offer a fair resolution. I strongly advise potential buyers to double-check product claims from this brand before making a purchase, as this situation has proven that their marketing materials are not always reliable. Would I buy from Eufy again? Based on this experience, highly unlikely.

Solid and elegant smart lock with minor passcode issue
The chrome finish looks elegant and the build quality feels solid. Installation was quick โ I got it set up in under 10 minutes. It integrates smoothly with my Eufy doorbell and cameras via HomeBase, and battery replacement is super easy. I also appreciate the backup key option, which gives peace of mind if Wi-Fi or the app ever fails. My only issue is that the passcode unlock feature occasionally doesn't respond well, which can be frustrating. Otherwise, it's been a reliable smart lock overall.

Would buy again
I installed it myself. It was easy and quick. I love the way it works with my other Eufy products. Would definitely purchase again. My only disappointment was that the instructions didnโt tell you that you have to press an โEnterโ button after you enter the code. Once I realized that I needed to do that it was smooth sailing.

Watch out for the Ads
This is not about the lock unit. The unit works fine and the Wi-Fi part works well. This has to do with the instructions provided. At the end you are supposed to download their App and set it up from there. However, there is a QR code on that page that does take you to the app, if you look for it closely. It does however, contain an ad link that takes the unknowing into a pay with credit account. If you fill it out unknowingly, you will link to a content account with a $40 per month charge. Luckily my Bank flag this and I was able to decline the purchase. Did have to get a new card sent! So Beware!
