Super PlasticSuperplastic x Astronaut Murdoc Vinyl 12-Inch Collectible Figure

My very first designer toys were a set of Gorillaz, but I sold them when I needed to pay off my student loans. I've lost most of my good stuff to student loans, really. So I'm psyched to be able to recapture some of that old excitement with this.It's HUGE. Like, this thing is massive. Designer toys are pretty pricey for whatever reason - limited editions, high production value, a weird sense of the toy being 'high art' (which is sometimes true, sometimes just goofy hype). But the size of this one really feels like it justifies the price and kind of brings it alongside similar mass-produced toys of a similar scale. It's extremely cool! The production is extremely smooth, and the light-up eyes are just a bonus. He's got a stand that makes him 'float', the pose is cool, and I kinda want all four now... but you gotta have the space. This is going to take up the better part of a room. Really cool!

I was blown away when this arrived! The box was much larger than I expected, which only added to the excitement of unboxing it. Right on the packaging, it says, ‘This is Art. Not a Toy,’ and that’s exactly how it feels. This figure is modeled from the Gorillaz’s Strange Timez animated music video, and the level of detail is incredible. The colors are vibrant, and every small feature is perfectly crafted, capturing the unique style of the band’s visuals.It’s more than just a figure; it’s a beautiful piece of art that any Gorillaz fan or collector would appreciate. This is definitely one of the most impressive pieces I’ve added to my collection, and I couldn’t be happier with it!

It's so much bigger than I expected but that's a bonus.This is super cool and very well made. I love the eyes light up even though we'll not have the batteries in it as it will be displayed high on a shelf where it won't be touched often but it's a cool feature.The quality is really good. It has a solid feel and decent weight. Fits on the stand perfectly and I expect it to be a talking point when we have friends over.I was a little iffy on the price but once I got this out of the box I think it's an awesome value.Really pleased
