Worked with my 9800X3D
Even although you're not supposed to because of compatibility issues with some distributionsn of the 9800X3D. I did get this anyway and it did actually hold the delidepd 9800X3D in place with no problem after a little conformal coating to the SMDs

It does the job, even on a 9800X3D that is "not supported".
Despite what the compatibility list says - this will absolutely fit a 9800X3D if you're careful lining it up to not crush the capacitors at the left/right side of the chip. If you *really* wanted to be safe about 3 seconds with a grinding wheel would make installation easier. I didn't take a pic before sticking on the thermal sheet but you can see how close the caps are at the left side. They're similarly close on the right side.

Pricey but genuine
Works great on my decided 9950x. It's a genuine frame even though it doesn't seem to be a thermal grizzly authorized reseller.

Spreads the heat transfer out and around on an AM5 cpu. Might not make a 10c difference but every degree counts
