These scissors are well made and sharp. Cut through 50lb braid no problem. Nice holder included.

I just tested out these KastKing scissors by cutting a bunch of different weight braided fishing line from 10lb to 40lb and they work amazing. I was able hold a piece of line loosely in one hand and simply snip off a length with a nice clean cut and no fraying. They look and feel very well made and the holster that is included with the scissors works very well also. I do recommend these scissors for cutting braided fishing line.

The media could not be loaded. Nice and durable. cuts thru braided line very easily. Color is bright so you don’t loose them. I like that they come with a lanyard and a belt attachment. Kastking is king! 🐟

I will say this thing is very sharp and very handy. When you get into your higher pound test of braid it does take a little more finesse but still gets the job done. The size is perfect to fit into your tackle box or bag also the sheath that comes with it is very high quality. I have dropped this thing tons of times and it is still holding up great. The finger holes are kind of small but you can still get a great grip.

Really? Yes. Those pair of stainless steel serrated 3CR13 blades should be considered as such! Be careful when handling them if the blades are open. No problems cutting mono, flouro, or 65lb braid, squid, plastic bags, etc. Brand lines used for cutting test are KastKing and PowerPro. Also cut up some 80lb lines found on piers left behind by previous anglers. (C'mon people, let's leave our fishing spots cleaner than we arrived)My only gripe: The sharpening stone on the backside of the sheath is very coarse, and has worn out my pants when the sheath is clipped to my belt. The stone needs some type of flap to cover and protect from outer elements.Non-slip handles are great, doesn't slip! And, non-slip handles are not so great, I can't get my fingers out because it's stuck! Doesn't slip off fingers if you they slide too deep in your fingers. This is not a complaint, just an observation as compared to stainless steel scissors I've used in the past.Cleaning is easy, and residual squid (dried up nonetheless) still wipes off after soap and fresh water wash.HIGHLY and STRONGLY recommend these scissors.

I'm a fan of Kast King, these scissors are proof of their quality products. These are super sharp, they'll plow through 30 lb braid and 50 lb mono right on the tip of the scissor blades.Get some, you won't be sorry. Yes there is a difference, these are worth it!

I mostly use braided fishing line, and bought these after running into problems with wire cutters, nail clippers, and other scissors that couldn't cut braided line cleanly. These bad boys cut cleanly and easily through braid, flouro, and mono fishing line.The small tip makes it easy to clip the tag end close to the knot. The lanyard means you can keep them on you without worrying about accidentally dropping them in the river, in case you get caught on an impossible snag.

If you're looking for fishing scissors that actually cut through braided line then buy these. They work great. I ordered a second pair after trying it out. Very impressed.
