Easy and fast, mine weren’t tarnished out of the packaging like other comments say, I like that they come with ear covers & other earrings backs to switch to, I was worried about it not being a fast piercing as the earring itself is the actual piercing needle but it worked amazingly and wasn’t painful, I just counted down from three & squeezed with a good amount of pressure, I plan to keep these in for about a week or two till I switch out but that’s if I notice tarnishing, I cleaned them with alcohol before piercing!, they are a nice size and not too thick or thin, the gun didn’t stick to my earring and the plastic guard came right off after piercing, overall I would buy again, I did my 2nd & 3rd earlobe holes, and if those heal fine I will be doing the 4th hole! I’ve always had great experiences with piercings, I’m not sensitive from my ears, I wouldn’t this if you fall under those categories because it’ll likely get infected, I also don’t recommend this if all you have is a simple ear piercing, and I say that because if you do, your likely more sensitive to piercings done at home and should get it done professionally, that being said if you notice any irritation take them off immediately and cleanse, you shouldn’t have super red ears for more than 48hrs, swelling should be minimal and it shouldn’t be painful to touch, while doing the piercing make sure to have clean hands and CLEAN THE EARRING BEFORE PIERCING WITH ALCOHOL AND PREP YOUR EARS, and do not touch the earring after piercing with bare hands, grab a q-tip that has a bit of alcohol on it if you need to push the earring more in or down, I also don’t recommend twisting them, if you see crust build up, grab a wet q-tip and push the earring up/down from the back/front and clean, also don’t clean excessively & use saline after piercing & not alcohol to prevent drying out - (someone whose had tons of piercings & has lots of tattoos )

Love this ear-piercing kit. You get enough for six times. I had one of my six holes close on me, so I bought this to open it up and restart it. It has been two weeks, and my hole is good to go. I took out the little starter earring and now have one of my gold earrings in. I will leave that in for two more weeks and see how I should be all heeled up and ready to put other earrings in. I have had my ears pierced for over 40 years and I do not wear earrings all the time. I was very surprised to see one had closed from the back. I did not get an infection from using this kit. I kept cleaning my ear with peroxide and used an antibiotic ointment. I did that for two weeks plus. I will continue to do that with my gold earing in. Just to be on the safe side. With this set you get the little guns that come preloaded with a stud in it. You get alcohol wipes. you get ear covers for washing your hair and showering. You also get a magic marker washable to place the hole where you want it. I did it on my hole to make sure I hit the hole where it was. It worked out great. The guns are plastic with metal insides the studs I do believe are stainless surgical steel. I did not have anything turn black or green on my earring. If I need to do this again I will as I have several left. If I wished to pierce a new area on my ear, I will do that too. For now I am happy with what I did for a first timer in piercing ears. It did not hurt me but if you are afraid, it will, and you will feel the pinch use an ice cube and freeze your ear. Grateful to get this kit.

I have to say this was quite an experience for me. I've been wanting to pierce a couple more spots on my ears and when I checked several different places to get prices for the cartilage piercing I was quoted $60 for one piercing. That seemed to be a standard price. So, after talking with my husband, reading some reviews and watching a few videos, I figured "why not". I'm very glad that I did. This kit is awesome. Giving me the option of three different types of earrings, very thorough instructions and super easy to use. I was surprised that I didn't feel a thing. Only the clicking noise of the piercing gun. It's been about 2 weeks since I've pierced my ears and naturally they're tender, but haven't had any issues with the earrings or the locations where I pierced them. I do follow the instructions as noted and clean both each morning and evening with sterile saline solution. But I must admit, after 5 days I did clean them with 91% alcohol ONCE just to see if either piercing would burn. NOPE, no changes whatsoever. No burning sensation or discoloration of the earrings. I'm so glad that I purchased this kit. Wish I would have known about this product years ago. Would have made things a lot more easier.

This kit is great if you know what you’re doing and if you don’t have sensitive skin. I watched a few video reviews online before ordering, so it was easy to maneuver out the box, it was also relatively painless and easy. The package came with everything I needed and I was pleased with the piercings. By day two, I realized however, that the earrings were making my ears itch. So I rush ordered two 14k gold replacement studs from a jewelry store. Switching out the earrings were a breeze, there was no swelling, no crust, no bleeding. I have been using saline solution daily. This kit definitely saved me money, but have a pair of quality earrings ready for the long run.

I bought these to re-pierce my daughters' ears. One daughter's ear was pierced incorrectly at the specialty ear-piercing place, so I had to re-pierce her earlobe. My other daughter's ear lob closed because she had not been wearing earrings because her job limits her to a certain type of earring to wear. Both re-piercings were successful, and neither daughter felt a thing! If I had to do it all over again, I would pierce my daughter's ears myself instead of taking them somewhere to do it. You just have to be confident and know what you're doing.

I bought this for my teen and he loves the ease of use . He was able to use the kit without any help. I would recommend buying this kit if you are seeking new piercings or if you have prior piercings that have closed up. This is an easy way to redo those again. Also, the price was great.
