This microwave is great. It has the necessary bells and whistles you would want. The look is impressive, the heating time is spot on and so far, it works as advertised. But and isn't there always a but, it also has a "child proof" lock because it is sold in California. The microwave is up on a shelf so it cannot be used by a small child. But California wants a perfect world in the middle of an imperfect world so I have an extra step I must go through to get to my warm dinner. Still, a good choice for me.

This is a great microwave that fits well into our pre-built cabinet space and is super easy to use for every member of the household. It reheats food as quickly and as thoroughly and as evenly as our previous microwave did so we are very happy with it. It fits our full sized dinner plate portions and anything else we need to reheat. In the photo I have a 2 quart reheating dish inside and you can see all the space we have around that. Another photo I added here has a full-size dinner plate inside. Previously, we ordered one that had a smaller capacity and it didn’t fit a full-size dinner plate inside but this 0.9 cu ft one does. We ordered the 18.6x13.2x10.7 model. We also have a food splatter cover that’s quite deep and the minimal size of this microwave allows for that to fit in the prebuilt cupboard space as well. I definitely need to wipe away fingerprints from the outside, but that was the case with my last microwave so not a problem. I would highly recommend this microwave.

Wow is it hard to settle on a microwave out of all the choices out there. I landed on the Black & Decker and have no regrets. The design was appealing to me, but the performance was better than expected. It was replacing a Toshiba that also had convection and air fry. I thought I was going to do more cooking with it, but ended up mostly using the microwave feature to reheat. The smaller size and power of the Black & Decker proved to be all that I needed for faster reheating and more thorough popping of popcorn. And the performance is more solid and quiet becoming a great small but mighty addition to my kitchen. I recommend!

Just got this, so far so good, except for one thing. I've set the clock numerous times & every time I use the microwave to cook, the clock disappears & I'm left with the three zeros. The clock fails to reappear after I cook. So if I want the clock I have to reset it yet again. Not worth it, so apparently the clock function is not really usable. If there's a way to fix this, I would love to hear it. Next day: The clock started working all at once, it reappears after cooking like it should! So we're good. I changed my rating to five stars.

Works good, but it’s super annoying because every time you wanna open the door, you have to push a button first. I don’t know if it’s a new safety feature and the company didn’t have a choice but it’s still an extra step.
