Perfect for home use, multi-opened tabs, Office apps. (I'm not gaming, just regular browser work.)
I researched a fw products and used A.I. to help sort through what I needed: generally a browser-workhorse (00+ tabs open) and regular Office apps, no gaming. These mini-PCs kept popping up and seemed daunting compared to desktops and laptops, which I'm familiar with but what's the difference, really? I still just plug stuff in. I don't plan on upgrading or swamping this out for 5 years so I hoped this item will do the trick. There was one caveat that needed to be flagged โ it would run loud dring high intensity usage, ie, gaming. I'm not gaming and have never once hit the whirring fan. Very compact and installed easily, took some time, of course, and able to use Wifi and install printers on Windows 11 Home.Very basic but it worked and able to plug in two monitors. Went with the larger rmemory setup so this should last for the time span and with 500Mbps internet speed, no lag whatsoever. This seems like the perfect model for the price point compared to laptops 9no need to move it around) and small desktops (saves much more space). It's been a month and no complaints.

14,000MBPs using RAID 0 NVMe on this is INSANE!
This is crazy! At this price, this little mini PC supports RAID 0 (and RAID 1) NVMe Gen4 with two M.2 slots that already have thermal tape and heatsink attached to the rear panel! The UM760 Slim comes stock with a mid-range Gen4 NVMe M.2 (the second M.2 is empty). It runs at a little over 4500MBPs (see photo). After opening it (must remove the rubber feet first to expose the screws at the bottom. Be careful removing the bottom panel as a cable attaches a cooling fan and can be easily broken off during removal! Once opened we installed two Fanxiang 2TB NVMe Gen4 NVME SSDs, Enabled RAID in the BIOS, rebooted back into the BIOS to the RAID options and created our RAID 0 array. Then we installed Win11 24H2 from scratch (it defaults to installing PRO since the product key for Windows is embedded in the BIOS)! You must download the drivers from Minisforum, however, the RAID drivers for Windows installation are missing, but you can download them direct from AMDs website for this chipset. Once the install of Win11 Pro was done, we got over 14,000MBPs on sequential reads and over 12,000MBPs on sequential writes! This is insane and overkill for a Ryzen 5, but I can't believe how well this worked on such a budget-friendly mid-range mini PC. This mini PC is super quiet and has a 2.5GBe LAN port. You will need to provide the LAN drivers, either downloading from MinisForum driver page, or use a USB to ethernet adapter (sold here on Amazon) to get you online if you don't have a spare PC to download the drivers and you did not download the drivers to a USB flash drive before your re-install. Overall, this may not be the best mini PC money can buy, but it's definitely the best mini PC you can buy for the money in late 2024! Highly recommended!!! Great value! Dual channel RAM, WiFi 6E and Bluetooth v5.3... What else could you want without spending a lot more?

The best PC I've ever owned and it's also my first gaming PC.
This is my first gaming PC ever and it's also the main reason I got it. I've been a console gamer my whole life, but I've always wanted to get into PC gaming and could not due to financial issues. When I received a huge unexpected bonus from work, I started researching mini PCs and settled on this one. Since I'm new to gaming PCs, I'm not going to talk about overclocking, temperatures, or any of the technical stuff. However, I will say, that this PC is very quiet when playing graphics intensive games. I'm able to play most of the latest AAA titles like Cyberpunk at 1440p, 60FPS, and max settings (no ray tracing) using FSR. I've even been able to play some titles at 4K and 60FPS with max settings and FSR set to the highest performance setting. Besides gaming, this computer is super fast. I've never owned a PC this fast. I've only ever owned potatoes with integrated graphics that struggle to run indie games at 30FPS which I used only for work, so it's a huge jump coming from those types of PCs to a fast one like the HX77G. It boots in like 15 seconds. Applications open instantly. I got mine with 32GB of RAM and 500GB of disk space, but plan to upgrade to 64GB and 4TB soon. It's been 6 months and the PC has never frozen on me. I'm running Windows 11 with all the drivers up to date. This review is kind of late because I bought it last October 2023. Though I prefer to write reviews after owning things for a while and the honey moon period is over. IMHO, the honey moon period with this PC is STILL not over. It's really that good. I like it so much and I'd definitely buy it again or an upgraded model when I have the money.

Very good value
UM700/16GB/512GB I had a 9 year old Windows 10 computer which had to be replaced because win1`0 was not going to be supported. Looked at desk top computers and decided I didn't really need all the extra stuff. This lets me add whatever I want using USB ports. I saw some comments about the Windows version but mine came with Windows 11 Pro. The SSD was very fast. My one complaint was that both memory slots were filled to make 16GB. Part of the memory is used for graphics, so if I want to expand the memory sticks have to be replaced. My old monitor had the correct screw holes to allow mounting of the Miniforum on the back. (The new Dell Monitor did not allow this, so not sure how common this option is). I suddenly have a lot more desk space although it makes access to some of the USB ports awkward (they are at the bottom) I added an external CD/DVD with extra USB ports and a card reader to make access easier. Overall I was pleasantly surprised for how good this computer is. Graphics and audio seems very good, although I am not pushing them with fancy games. Very easy to set up and I think I got most of my stuff transferred OK. Documentation is a little light, and was not were it was supposed to be.

Genuinely Impressed with the Power of this Little PC
My wife and I have had this computer for about 4 months. We have been genuinely impressed with the performance of this tiny PC for its size and cost. It boots up quickly, runs quietly, fits comfortably on the top of our computer desk, and given that we utilize cloud storage for most of our files, comes with more than enough built-in storage. It is also a more than capable gaming machine for older games (most of what we play). Below is a list of games we are ale to play at high settings without any issues: - Starcraft 2 (campaign and online co-op) - Dawn of War - Medieval 2 Total War - Age of Empires 3: Definitive Edition - Grim Dawn - Warcraft 3 Reforged August 2026 UPDATE: - I recently did a clean install of Linux Mint. The process was seamless. The only downside is that the stock Mediatek WiFi/Bluetooth card does not play nicely with Linux. - However, I bought a $20 replacement Intel WiFi/Bluetooth card, and the installation could not have been easier. The card sits underneath the motherboard, so there was no need to remove it in order to change out the card. I only needed to unplug the fan.

Excellent mini PC. No problem. Fair enough price. Easy to mount on a monitor.
Excellent mini PC. No problem. Fair enough price. Very easy to add an SSD. Easy to mount on a monitor. Makes the table much cleaner than any other kind of PC, while without compromising on performance. The only thing is that the noise is louder than my MATX pc, but only when the CPU is working hard. I'm not saying it's noisy. It's still pretty quiet but louder than my MATX.
