This clock is a good size, very thin, very light, and it's handy to have two USB ports for charging phones or tablets. The bright/dim setting doesn't do much. There are three brightness settings, but the dimmest setting is still about 90% as bright as the brightest setting. This matters because the clock is incredibly bright--literally bright enough that you can use it as a reading lamp at night, even at its dimmest setting. I ended up buying Duofire black window privacy film to cover the face of the clock. That supposedly blocks 93% of visual light. I put three layers on (which mathematically should block 99.9973% of visible light), and now it's dark enough that it isn't disturbing my sleep. That makes the real price of this product the $23 for the clock plus the $7 for the plastic film + kind of a fun crafts project to cut out the film.

This is perfect for easily seeing the time from across the room in the middle of the night without my glasses on. The numbers are huge and the color is bright. It's very small and doesn't take up much dresser space.

Overall it’s a great alarm clock and the USB ports work excellently. However, there really isn’t much dimming for the clock it’s somewhat like having a really powerful nightlight in a room. I no longer use it in my bedroom but it works perfectly in the living room.

I bought this clock to put next to my tv since some of the new cable boxes no longer have a clock. I didn't try out the alarm features or anything, I just used it to check the time while watching tv. The mirrored look is a cool design, and the face is large enough to easily read from across the room. Unfortunately after 2 1/2 years, the LEDs started to die. Some parts of the number display are really dim, other parts are full on bright. So it got really difficult to read the time. If 2 1/2 years is long enough for you, then go for it. Otherwise, I'd look elsewhere for a higher quality product.

I got tired of squinting at my old clock radio across the room. It seems like cheap clock radios have not changed in decades, and I never ever used the radios.This clock is simple, futuristic, and easily readable from across the room with these old eyes. The form is much like a smart phone. It comes with a stand or can be wall-mounted, powered via USB. Very nice simple modern clock.
