My high school age son recently injured his knee. He needed to ice it frequently, even at school. I sent a few of these to school with him and they worked out great. They did not activate in his backpack, as I worried they would be being shaken up in there. He was able to easily activate them and use them with no interference in his day. They keep chilled shorter than an ice pack from the freezer but when I need one while I am out and about, this has been a saver. I only had one issue when one was stored at the bottom of my bag for a couple of weeks. I activated it and not long into it on me, it started leaking.
