Works very well. The 100 vac outlets measured 100.6 vac and the 120 outlets measured 120.7. Very good control. I use this for my 100 vac Japanese hifi equipment. I feel confident that my equipment is safe when using this converter. The price was very reasonable. Seems well built, good weight and solid.

Great compact unit that works like a charm. I purchased it to power my Japanese Sony CDP-X5000 and couldn’t be happier. I don’t leave it plugged in 24/7 but only when it’s being used. Super easy to add to the system and I appreciate the professional finish it has.

Great step up/down transformer at high wattage support! I actually ordered it three times and finally it arrived the correct one I ordered. Previous two I got wrong spec and sent them back. I waited 10 more days to try it again and this 3rd time came the correct one. I used it for dual purpose: Japan 100V appliance, and isolation transformer for high end audio. The 3KW rated transformer is no joke. Huge! Heavy! My power amp runs full throttle at 4-500W max capped and you really need at least 3x more power transformer to get the optimal result. It runs cool and quiet. It comes with 3 120V outlets and 3 100V outlets that seven more than I need. It’s bang for the buck 100%!

Got a japanese appliance. Live in north america we have 120V outlets. Not gonna lie you guys I don’t think anyone gets excited having to buy a transformer. It was a cost I wish I didn’t have to make but also it is insurance for my appliances (futon dryer) and I feel safe because I know the appliance wont over heat due to high voltage coming in and potentially start a fire. This product seems to work well. I dont have tools to really test the voltage its outputting because i am not electrically savy but I do feel safe now. The transformer itself comes with a thick cord which is a good sign as well as a nicely thought out carrying strap on the top. It is very small and easy to move around which is perfect for my needs of moving it back and forth daily. Thanks yinleader for creating a step down tranformer that isnt just niched towards europe but north america and is reasonably priced. Oddly enough at the time im writing this, this is one of the only 120 to 100 volt transformers on Amazon without a super high wattage like 3000 or 5000 but at 2000watts it is perfect for my 500 watts appliance.

Does exactly what it’s designed to do. Build quality is nice and unit functions exactly as advertised. Tested with a multimeter, it drops voltage from 120V ~ to 100V ~ and price is reasonable. Used on Japanese electronics.
