Make Your Own Opoly

Have had many years of fun with this Monopoly! Was very simply, put the disc into the computer and then change and create your own Opoly! You will need a colour printer to get the cash notes to print. Great board game for Christmas, would buy another!

The game was great however there was no card in the box for the news or property cardsLuckily enough I had a disc from a previous game I made bought from a store and had to use that as the disc was scratched

I bought this because it was relatively cheap and seems like the easiest option to making my own version of Monopoly.What I got was a loose CD ROM and a board with less spaces than normal Monopoly - I was pretty tired after returning from a trip to Liverpool, and didn't notice that the board was ... different.There are spaces called "Lottery", the Go To Jail space had been replaced by something called "Fate!" where one rolls the dice, and depending on whether its odd or even, takes a "Good News" or "Bad News" card.See, when it is advertised as being completely customisable, I did not expect the computer program (which, I hasten to add, I had to actually download from elsewhere because Windows 7 64 bit DID NOT SUPPORT IT from the CD) to start screaming at me, telling me I could, under no incertain terms, edit the 'Fate' 'Good News' and 'Bad News' tiles - meaning the whole addition of being able to rename the cards Good News and Bad News to something considerbly less boring was absolutely redundant, because as far as the game was concerned, those tiles had to remain as they came.I advise anyone looking at this to not bother; download Photoshop and download a zip file some kind person on the internet is providing (there are such files, I've begun the process myself) and actually make your own MON-opoly, rather than this cheap, Windows 98-tastic rip off.The only good thing that came out of this purchase?The board is going to be used for the Monopoly game I'm making without the use of any of the pieces or junk included with it.

Very good value for money, as much fun to make as it is to play. It does take a while to think through and collect the images required but we enjoyed doing that. The software was very easy to install and use even for a technophobe with an old computer! Warning though, it does take a lot of printer ink, and the labels you stick on the board are not as durable as a pre-printed board would be.

This is fantastic as a unique gift! I gave it to one of my nursing colleagues for her birthday and called it hospitopoly. If you have a computer the programme is easy to use and it is surprisingly not too time consuming. The gift was so well received and really is an opportunity to give a personalised gift which shows effort.

My son had a great idea for a monopoly game so he bought this and put it all together as a gift for his brother. Unfortunately there are not as many spaces on the board (7 spaces per side) so he couldn't use some of his ideas. They also don't have the railroad spaces, instead they have lottery spaces which I don't like for kids. There are other discrepancies as well. I think that the idea is great and it does come with everything you need to make it your own, but they went out of their way to make it very different than what you would expect. The quality of the board and accessories is acceptable to me.

This product is hilarious! Aslong as youve got a sense of humour and alot of creativeness you will have great fun with it!! You can interpret your whole family and village into the game of monopoly and make it whatever you want. I found the instructions very clear, and love how i can add pictures of me and my family into the board game!!
