What really stands out about this timer is the rotating feature—it’s so easy to set the timer to any of the preprogrammed times just by simply rotating the dial. The large digital display is clear and easy to read from a distance, so I can always see how much time is left without having to squint.The timer's preprogrammed settings cover most of my needs, but the one downside is that it doesn't offer a quick way to program a custom time if I need something specific. While the pre-set times are great for general use, occasionally I find myself needing a timer for a unique duration, and without an easy way to program that on the spot, I have to work around it. This lack of flexibility is the only thing holding me back from giving it a perfect score.Despite this, the timer is still a fantastic tool overall. It’s simple, easy to use, and accurate, and I really appreciate the rotation feature, which makes setting it effortless. If the ability to program specific times was a bit more user-friendly, this would be a perfect addition to any home or classroom.

Some of us have to throw in the wrinkle of ADHD. And if you are familiar with the modern parable about sharpening the saw, it's important to make sure for mental and physical health you are taking a break.A countdown timer for me has been an invaluable tool to keep me on task, to aid in determining the total man hours needed for a task (though not in the way I would hope), remind me to take breaks (and then return to task in a timely manner) and to help me spend at least some time on seemingly lesser tasks.It can be used in the home as well for a variety of purposes: working out, nap time, and in the kitchen (though some what limited).This particular timer has a number of preset countdown including 30, 60 and 90 minutes. Turn it on with a simple button on the back and set the timer so that the amount of time on the countdown faces up. A gravity sensor starts the countdown based on the chosen time. Various scenarios I have used countdown timers: days when I have a lot of calls with clients but only limited time to work on their projects; as a reminder to check emails or tickets that come to my department periodically throughout the day; to remind myself to take a break so that my brain has time to rest; to mind myself to limit that break to a set amount of time.I work hybrid and have been using a countdown timer in the office for over a year. I realized such a timer would be even more useful in the home than at my desk. So i looked to order another. I chose this on for the additional preset timers and for the color and size. There are a couple of features that are okay but not necessary.Feature is a clock with an alarm clock. The clock is easy to set. The time display is military time, which I prefer not to display in the home. There is no other option, however. Another feature is a volume button; or, rather a signal or mute button. Either the clock beeps at a preset volume when time has passed or it vibrates, but no volume control to intensity of the sound.One feature that other models of countdown timers have that this one does not is the ability to set a countdown of any time in minutes and seconds. You are limited by the preset times and must restart the timer to combine the options.Also, i was hoping this timer had a stop watch type feature so i could time a task in case I need to report on the actual time spent or in case I want to have an idea of my average for certain tasks as I work on time management.I am frankly shocked at the cost of so many other models: many $40 or more. Most of these timers are a quarter of the size of the average bedroom electric alarm clock. This one ran about half of the cost of many others but feels cheaply made.Conclusion: does the job at good price. Feels cheap and missing some features.

This works but it takes some getting used to. Also it isn't flexible--to use it at its best, you have to live within the preset time intervals. If you need a custom time, that's doable, but at that you are better off with a regular tap-up timer.I like that you charge it up (USB-C) instead of replacing batteries.A niche item which might be perfect for you. For me it is just "ok".

If you use this for just the pomodoro timing then this works fine. But if you want to use Gorphi's Octagon Pomodoro Timer Clock for a clock or alarm it is a bit confusing. This cant be just used as a clock either. It seems to be strictly a Pomodoro Timer for productivity which is fine. But It seems like it wants to show it has other features as well but then falls short on it. The device has too many commands and not enough buttons for it. Also when you set the time it is only in military time which is frustrating. If there is a way to set it differently I can't find it at all.

I use this timer everyday. Its one of two pomodoro timers I use and I love that this one has a 10 minute preset. It works great, is easy to use and the battery lasts a long time. I've dropped it more than a few times and it hasn't given up on me yet.

I can use my phone as a timer, but sometimes, a plastic gadget is just what you need to keep track of your time when cooking, studying, or working.But one thing annoying about the simple kitchen timer is when you have to set the time. You have to hold down the key to set it, and it makes that annoying beep-beep-beep-beep sound until you reach the number you need.The Gorphi Octagon Pomodoro Timer Clock is fantastic because to set the time you need, all you have to do is turn the clock on its side. Each side is labeled with a time interval, so find what you need and just turn it. And then the timer starts running. Awesome!To turn the timer off, just put it face down. Silence. Great!Another nice thing about the Gorphi Octagon Pomodoro Timer Clock is that it’s rechargeable with a USB-C cable. No need to worry about batteries.I have been using the The Gorphi Octagon Pomodoro Timer Clock every day since I got it. It’s designed to be useful, looks cool, and a very functional item. Thumbs up.
