Well constructed
Rack is well built and sturdy. Need 2 people to install into receiver. It's that well built.

Excellent product, but it needs a slimmer hitch pin when folded upright.
Initially, I would give 5 stars on the product. Strong steel, excellent welds. great design, quality bolts, etc. Mine was for an RV with bumper, and the hitch receiver used the second hole in the cargo tongue. Only complaint is when the rack is folded up... the lock hitch pin is too tight to get into the provided hole. I had to grind down one side of the pin for it to work. Also, ended up opening the hole in the hitch a little more. Now it is an excellent and tight fit.

Works very well! Frees-up a lot of interior space.
Worked great! I was able to fill a 60”x24”x31” cargo bag with suitcases. Included anti-rattle brace kept it in place. I added a 60” lightbar for added safety and visibility plus reflective tape. It freed-up a lot of interior space. Easy to use. Highly recommend!

Flimsy Base, Can't Return, Got Virus
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This has been my worst buy on Amazon [and I buy most things here]. The mesh base to this Chinese product was so flimsy [it couldn't support 50 pounds, let alone the 500 pound rating. You can't return it without paying the shipping and when I went to download the Chinese instruction return policy they gave me a virus on my phone the moment I downloaded it. I have now just given this away and absorbed the $180. Beware of this company and product.

Pretty good but maybe a couple corners cut considering the price
This is a pretty good quality cargo rack overall, but its also on the pricier side so there were a couple parts I was not thrilled about, corners they cut so to speak. The hardware included is a little sub-par. They should have done carriage bolts as someone else said. Also they are a mix of standard and metric bolts with uncommon thread sizes which makes it harder to do the other recommended upgrade, which is to throw out their cheap nuts and lock washers and use nylon lock nuts to secure the hardware. You are best off taking one of each bolt to the hardware store and getting some good grade 8 bolts with nylon lock nuts to replace all of their bolts. Whether you use their bolts or not, I would also recommend welding and re-painting after assembly if you want it to really last a long time and have less risk of it rattling apart on the road. Otherwise just check the hardware periodically and make sure it is tight. The anti-rattle plate included is a nice gesture but it's a cheap/low quality one. I was miffed that they did not include a hitch pin, so if you don't already own a hitch pin you have to go get one separately. After assembly mine didn't have enough tolerance to lock into the fully upright stowed position. I think loosening the main bolt might have allowed it but I haven't bothered trying yet.I wasn't missing any parts BUT my box had NO DIRECTIONS in it. Although it was pretty self-explanatory for a mechanically-inclined person I think it's a little sketchy for something that could come apart and fall off the back of your vehicle and cause an accident. I checked the product page and currently no link to directions either. You will need a 17mm wrench and an adjustable wrench (or second 17mm wrench, or 17mm socket) for most of the bolts and you will need a 15/16 socket/wrench and a large enough second wrench or adjustable wrench to tighten the main/big bolt. None of these are really common sizes for a cheap tool kit the average household has so if you are not a real mechanically-savvy person check you have these tools or get some help so you don't end up dropping your cooler and camping chairs into oncoming traffic. They give you three holes to use on the hitch insert which is both good and bad. It's good in that it gives you more options if you have a large rear tire or legit reason to stick the cargo rack further out from the bumper, but, it's not a real thick/great quality tube and the further out you put it the more leverage that gives the rack and any cargo (like a heavy cooler full of beverages) to wrench on your hitch. It is much more likely to kink the further out you install it, especially with a heavy load. You have to be careful and use common sense with weight and distribution. 500 lbs capacity is absurd and they could get sued about that. Check your vehicle owner's manual as many factory and aftermarket hitch receivers are only rated to 200 to 300 pounds, of which 60 is burned up just from the weight of the cargo rack alone before it has any gear put on it. You should try to keep weight to the center or evenly distributed if possible and try to stay under 200 pounds is my personal recommendation based on my opinion of the thin tube used. The folding sidewalls are a bright spot for this product, well designed and pre-assembled which is great. It just added a lot of weight to the overall package to have those. So, it is pretty good but take weight ratings with some common sense and consider using better hardware and/or welding and re-painting after assembly for additional strength. Keep it as close into the bumper as your space allows and it should serve reasonably well.
