Compact and great for an always carry camera.
The S9 was released to mixed reviews, its a small camera and has no EVF. But with no small lenses upon release... except an odd manual lens. Now with the 18-40mm the camera is very different sized system... Or even better the Sigma I series contemporary lenses. Image quality is excellent focus is fast and sure with both the 18-40mm and the 24mm Sigma lens. Video is also a very strong on this camera with 6K and 4K recording at various frame rates and very high data rates. As a small and compact full frame camera I think the results are awesome. This has now become my new holiday camera.

Muy buena cámara, calidad de imágenes increíbles, su filtro B&N de Leica es único. La única pega es que es bastante incomoda de llevar y pesa. Por lo demás, de 10!

It’s a point and shoot…but then a whole lot more !!
At its basic level it’s a point and shoot camera using the Auto setting until you delve into the menu system to unleash the true potential. I watched a shed load of YouTube videos posted by some very knowledgeable S9 users. This gave me the basis to understand the menus and how to navigate through them to set the camera up based on my planned usage….theme park memories in a very sunny environment….the 18-40mm kit lens allows for some great variety of shots both during the day and at dusk…still loads to learn but having a lot of fun with this camera and lens combo.

Quite possibly the best camera for the money you can buy. A great all-rounder.
Still getting to know this camera but so far I'm really impressed. I like the full frame, I like the open gates, with the firmware upgrades, I like the extended recording times, I love the customisation of the menu. We all know it doesn't have a viewfinder but honestly the more and more I use it the less and less I feel like I need it. This is a great camera that takes great photos, stunning video. The real time LUTs are really useful. I would recommend this camera to anybody. I think it's probably the best bang for buck you can get right now.

Tolle Kamer. Aber, HEIßER TIPP: Kein Blitz/externer Blitz möglich!
Die Kamera ist top. Das einzige Manko, dass einem auch keiner sagt: Die Kamera hat weder einen integrierten Blitz noch läßt sich einer externer Blitz anschließen. Es exisitiert nur ein so genannter "Cold Shoe". Bedeutetd, dass (im Gegensatz zu einem "Hot Shoe") ein aufgesteckter externer Blitz nicht erkannt werden kann bw. nicht vorgesehen ist.
