The pattern wears too quickly
This is a good tread pattern for mixed pavement and off-road. The only problem is that the rubber is too soft and so the tread pattern wears very quickly. Just 500 miles of cycling with a loaded touring bike is sufficient to wear the tread down by about 50%. I keep buying identical replacements because I haven't heard of anything better.

They are low priced and light wieght.
Low wieght. Low price. Low rolling resistance. Puncture resistant. Have a set currently on my DK Spectra. Got this one for a fatter front.

Great Wheels
Great wheels. I put a set on my son's 20" Marin Hidden Canyon, as well as on my other son's 24" Specialized Hotrock. We ride a lot on trails, as well as some street. They are a very good all around tire.
