Product [Burlap & Barrel Purple Shallot Powder] SIDE NOTE: I got this as a gift for my parent, whom enjoys cooking, and I ended up using this seasoning just as much! This is stuff has that "secret-culinary-weapon", kind of "Ka-POW" effect on food. This is THE STUFF! PROs - Was delivered on time + well packaged + undamaged - Was a described/depicted per Amazons description (design and color is exactly as shown in the product picture) - TASTE IS PERFECTION - Texture is ok, was powdery like the texture of flour, per se - Tastes super fresh! - Great value for money! This is some quality stuff, right here CONs - Wish it came in a bigger bottle, but that's just business, I get it. CONCLUSION Firstly, this stuff smells delicious and has that "POW" flavor effect! This stuff is...freaking awesome. This isn't a debate, have no doubt, this is 100% WORTH THE TRY!

We use this in so many dishes. I like it better than the larger flakes because the flavor disperses more evenly. We have a subscription for ethically sourced, pure olive oil and spices but they are chosen seasonally and can’t be restocked. We fell in love with the silk chili flakes we got and used them up quickly. I found this brand after searching for a replacement and was not disappointed!!

I purchased this item after watching a video of how it's made. It's a great addition to recipes that call for smoked paprika. It's also one of the spices that I use on baked pork chops and baked chicken.

The best cinnamon I have ever used! The smell is wonderful and the taste is even better!

Love this product. Some issues with packaging this time. Bottle top was not screwed tight enough, causing some of the powder to leak from the bottle. Otherwise, it is a great shallot powder.

I got some of this from a vendor at a farmer's market and love it. Really unusual peachy, slightly spicy, flavor - this chili is only grown in Guatemala. It's rare and hard to find, so was thrilled to find this on Amazon. Burlap & Barrel has a lot of very good and hard to find flavors, and I've bought more of them, both on Amazon and when I've seen them in retail shops. I like spices to make the same dishes taste different, and these are some of my very favorites.

This product is great on sandwiches, cooked vegetables, salads, and probably meat, although I don't eat that. A great favorable product that enhances the taste of many items. Highly recommend.

This is SOOoo much better than regular raw onion powder. The smell is truly delicious and the extra hint of caramelized flavor imparts another dimension to your foods. I can't believe so few companies produce a toasted onion powder. Regardless, this one is terrific.

Love Sumac. I purchased for Mediterranean recipes but use it for others as well because of the tang in it. What a great addition to my spice cupboard

I love cardamom and was excited to try this, especially after reading all the wonderful reviews, but this jar was bitter without any of the unique floral woodsy aromatic qualities that my favourite spice is known for. Disappointing.
