I purchased this for an up and coming job on my car, appears to be good quality and I’m sure it will be up to the job

I have a Mini and splitting the hub where the strut fits could not be released easy, well, until I got this tool. Once positioned and adjusted into the gap this tool widens the gap with ease, no more screw drivers or a crow bar! Once widened the strut moved with ease, given the strut had been held for 90,000 miles so expected some resistance, squirt of plus gas or similar helped, but the gap assisted allowed free moment. Still have this tool, still intact, no breakage. Very tough material, as the lip sits into the hub and then using the spanner adjusts enough to loosen the strut, great value for money

Good price,did the job intended on ford Kuga front struts, a little bulky and had to remove it as stopped the lower movement to clear for strut removal.would still recommend this product as it did what was required twice no marks or damage after use 👍

Excellent piece of kit, it also had a ratchet spanner included. I used on my car to replace a lower arm ball joint and was really impressed on how well it done it's job. *****

I bought this because I was working on my son’s Citroen replacing the struts. It mentions in the description that it’s good for Citroens but it didn’t work for me, the gap was too big to start with and so it was at the end of the adjustment range before it did anything. I’ll keep it for future applications as it seems well made and was cheap enough but wasn’t suitable for a Citroen C3 Picasso hub/strut
