THE AWESOMENESS OF NARUTO
This volume is just AWESOME because if you have followed the anime and or manga from the start of part 1 you will love this I cannont give enough credit to how amazing this arc was in the manga ( volumes 45 to 48 ) and hopefully will be in the anime. what I like this volume is just how dramatic, exciting and shocking the chapter in this volume were I remember like every other naruto manga fan when we were waiting for the next epic chapter and to find out who lives or dies ( not going to say because I don't want to spoil it )and you find out just how great a certain kunoichi is and the faith of a certain jonin and like all naruto manga this is great value for money. happy easter. luke.

One of the best volumes yet!
This volume continues and concludes the epic battle between Pain and Naruto, during which the landscape is obliterated and Naruto is pushed further than ever before. A great volume if you enjoy virtually non-stop action. Not only the fight but i also enjoyed the scene with the 4th Hokage and when Pain is discussing his twisted ideas of how to bring about peace with Naruto. Great volume which keeps you guessing throughout, definitly recommend.

A shift in gear.
This isn't the best place to start with a foray into the wonderful world of Naruto. Within the space of this one volume there are numerous pay offs to arcs that have been in place since the start of the series. Some of these reveals are a little abrupt but don't take away from another excellent volume. Additionally there is another shift in gear as regards Naruto orientated action. Easily makes it into my top 10 Naruto volumes.

NonStop Action! One of the Best Volumes
NAruto 47 contains Naruto chapters 433-442, that appeared in the monthly Shonen Jump #79-82 (7, 8, 9, 10, July, August, September, October, 2009 Volumes. The volumes continues the Pain invasion and brings it to a much exciting point in the series. The last volume ended with Naruto finally arriving in Konoha and wrecking destruction on the Pains, and this one continues that fight; it centers all attention on Naruto versus Pain. This volume is paramount in its way of dealing with the situation and the emotion of Naruto can be felt all over the place. The emotion is strong when one recollects on all the people who were close to him that were killed in this fight, the massive destruction of Konoha, and even the fact that peace is so hard to achieve. Taking it personally, I found myself feeling Naruto the whole time on this level. The fighting was also quite heartfelt and I found myself cheering him on the whole time. It was impressive seeing him in Sage Mode and seeing Pain's 'Almighty Push' and 'Almighty Pull' as well as one of the most destructive and massive attacks in the Naruto series make an appearance. Ultimately this volumes continued to deliver the action that was started in vol 46 and take it on the most epic level of the series since the concluding fights in the volumes before the start of the "Shippuden" storyline. Chapters: 433: Sage Jutsu, A Mistake...?! 434: Naruto vs Tendo 435: Banshoten'in! Universal Pull 436: Peace 437: Confessions 438: The Seal Destroyed!! 439: Catastrophe Planetary Construction 440: The Conversation with Lord Fourth 441: Rasen-Shuriken vs Almighty Push 442: The Final Gamble!! The number of chapters helped to carry us to another great end of the main fights and bring us ever closer to the conclusion of this fantastic art. Having read the chapters in their original form in the monthly Shonen Jump, it is always a pleasure to have the individual volumes of the manga. I enjoy the ability to have so many chapters per volume, the artwork on the cover of the volume is amazing, and the inserts artwork between each chapter is a tantalizing and exciting addition. One probably would not want to start reading Naruto with this volume and should really considering reading from Vol 45 to get the full experience and appreciation for this arc. Ultimately one should go back to Volume 28 for the full Shippuden experience. Art is fantastic as ever and is quite clean. It is definitely one of those series that the art can be cherished from, and one that has action scenes that convey everything clearly. I did not find myself having to flip and turn back from page to page to understand what just happened in the panels. There are not really any criticisms that I have for this volume. It was perfect and I loved every minute of reading it.
