I love this product. It was super easy to install, there is a video which I followed step by step and it works fantastically! The quality is great. It did come with a tiny scratch but I think I might’ve bough it used?? Can’t remember. There are weatherproofing strips that help keep the wind out! It looks fantastic!! I live in a small apartment and can’t always take my pup out. This doggy door is a must have! Hands down I rate it 10 out of 10!!!

Really wanted to love this door and the swinging function. The flap that the dog runs through broke off in a couple of weeks. It’s just a cheap plastic piece holding it together that the metal screws broke out of. The flap is completely off now and we can’t even use the dog door anymore. Installing it was also a bit crazy, and all of that, so expensive to not work.

Finally got the product installed. It felt like every single step had incorrect instructions or missing parts. Many screws were not the correct size. We thankfully were able to use spare parts from previous home projects. Had to grind down the metal bracket since it did not fit in our track. The fastener on the allen screw would spin with the screw, making it impossible to loosen the adjustable height track. We had to eventually clamp down the housing to get it to loosen, but then we had to screw the track above the window at the correct height since we could not tighten the allen screw once the door was on the hinges. The depth of the door is also much smaller than our sliding glass door making the lock useless until we can find another secure solution. Overall, everything seemed to be high quality, but had it not been for my husband and father who had to work together on solutions every step of the way, I never would have been able to install this myself.

Has gaps but we got weather stripping and that solved the problem. Not the door's fault. We have a janky door jamb. Door is exactly what we needed!

I’ve had a few dog doors over the years but this product is by far “the ultimate dog door”.Installation was a breeze. This door is made so well with 3 locking bolts, a door built into dog door, materials used are sturdy and well made. Insulation is excellent and holds up well in below 0 degree weather.Friends came over for dinner and were so impressed with the door they ordered one the next day!

This door did not last 6 months. The hinges are very week and way too few. The door flap its self is poorly designed as in the way it is installed. Plastic broke within 2 months.

Pros: I do love the fact that my great Danes can fit through this door without much “squatting” down. It does easily unlatch and open smoothly allowing for larger opening to move through.Cons: I had it professionally installed but the gapping is quite obvious and needs much more of the weather stripping to be included. After two months I am looking to teplace the door flap. The magnetic strip on the bottom has completely fallen apart now. I glued it back together twice before. A refund is really not an option as it has been attached to a permanent structure and it seems they are not willing to send another flap.

We bought a house that came with a doggy door sliding door insert and I was ecstatic for my dogs. I had no idea how annoyed I'd be with it for my own sake. Any time I needed to take something large outside, I had to go out through the garage and through the fence instead of straight through the house because many items wouldn't fit. This final straw was our child's high chair and so I began to seek out a solution. THIS IS THE SOLUTION. Our dogs still have their doggy door to go in and out as they please and now we have the ability to open the sliding doggy door to make the door as wide as it would be without it. I love this so much.
