Works well, has a tare button, shows time and temp if your a bread baker.
Really like these scales, nice clear digits, big enough to see and high contrast (getting old, so don't need my reading glasses like on some). Ordinary battery, seems to last well enough. Accurate as far as I can tell, work in 1 grm increments, whereas some work it 2 grm shouldn't affect most recipes I know, but for some reason really annoying. So they work well as ordinary scales, they have the tare button so you can add weigh, but they also go negative, so you can put a container on and dispense out of it, saves a lot of mental arithmetic, for instance I may need x amount of raw meat out of container, but I'm bagging it up for the freezer, I can put the pack of say chicken pieces on the scales tare it to zero, and then when I take out 200gms it shows -200, then I take another 200g out and it show -400 etc etc, very useful, save swapping thing on and of the scale. The time is shown all the time, and also the temperature which is very helpful to me as a sourdough bread maker, helps me to decide to get my proofing box out, or maybe stretch and fold on a warm worktop etc. It also has its own timer, yep timer, so press a button set the time and sure enough you get a minutes worth of beeps when the timer runs out. Again great for sourdough bakers who have their folding regimes. Down sides, only one so far, it beeps when you press a button, so not bad in normal use, once when you switch on, again if you tare, etc. I hate unnecessary beeps, and no you can't turn it off. So there you go..... And... months later all good, batteries last well, and even better the stainless steel is the real "I am", still spotless and easy to clean, and yep some "stainless steel products including scales" have pitted and rusted, but not these, happy to recommend.

Gets the job done!
面粉称的标题:Gets the job done! All I wanted was a simple, but reliable scale for weighing food and is exactly what I got. I just simply put this empty bowl on the scale, turn the machine on, and it sets the zero weight based on the weight currently on the scale. I put the food in the provided stainless steal bowl, in small quantities and add to their bowl, and it gives me an accurate representation of the weight. Simply adding and removing food as necessary, within moments I'm at the ideal weight required, and this was all carried out with zero initial setup and zero manual calibration. Switches from grams to ounces easily with a simple switch setting.Very accurate, can weigh 1g. It also has a temperature display and is backlit too. Pretty much what you want, right? If you do a lot of baking, it's ideal. Plus, it has a timer. So far there is nothing I don't like about this product.

The more I use this scale, the more I like it. It is an attractive scale with a bowl that works well for both dieting and baking. My usual scales were the flat platform type, and adding the nicely shaped steel bowl makes ALL the different. And the controls are easy to use--buttons. Not membranes. Yes, this is a great scale. I measure out my pasta for dinner to avoid over-eating starch. 2 oz is a good single serving and I like medium shells. I pour the shells into the scale and I can dump them right into the boiling water. If you bake "gravimetrically", you add flour and dry ingredients by weight, taring your scale between ingredients (tare = reset scale to 0.) I watched a friend of mine baking in Germany and she'd add the flour, tare the scale by hitting the TARE button, then add sugar, etc. It's an easier way to measure butter and fats, and it's really faster than measuring out cups by volume. And it's more accurate. So a scale that lets you put a bowl on it AND see the grams or ounces is very useful. Of course, it's great for dieters, because measuring your food is key to knowing what you eat. I never, NEVER make pasta without weighing it out first.
