This is easy to use if you read the directions on how to use the puff. After you put it on, you can’t even tell you’re wearing anything. I don’t wear powder normally, but my face is beginning to have uneven tones. I know they make expensive correction makeup for uneven face tones, but this does the job and you don’t even have to try. It lasted all day too. I like it I will buy it again.

*I am not a makeup enthusiast and am learning a bunch of things very late in my life. Some of my thoughts/opinions may be common knowledge for most people. I’m also a diesel mechanic, so my makeup is tested to the limit everyday.*This is my first setting powder ever, I purchased it after a friend recommended it. I bought translucent and even though the power has a slight yellow tint to it, I’m not seeing a change in color of my foundation on my face.Pros:- Seems to visibly change how my pores look. I can’t tell if it’s filling them or just dimming how the light hits my skin and causing them to not look so prominent.- A little goes a long way. This jar will last me a long time.- No smell.- Gives my skin a matte finish, which is a nice change since I have oily skin. (I have combination of oily + dry, but use products that effectively got rid of the dryness. This product seems like it might make dryness more visible.)Cons:- For oily skin, this does NOT last 24 hours. I give it a solid 3 hours before I have to consider reapplying over my entire face (yes, more than the T zone). I think this is a combination problem of my oily skin and the powder getting absorbed into the foundation.- Impossible to get out of dark clothing fast, you will have to wash the clothes. I’m inexperienced and didn’t tap my fluffy brush to shake off the excess before bringing it to my face. It’s such a lightweight powder that even just tapping it poofs it into the air so I’ve been looking ridiculous as I hold the jar and brush away from me with my arms fully extended until I tap enough off to feel safe.- I don’t recommend using this over any shiny/metallic cream based make up or even cream contour. Use only on top of foundation and concealer. Everything else, it immediately either dulls down or looks like it completely hides it.- After 6 hours, I will see my foundation shift a little into my fine wrinkles. Shifts less than if I didn’t wear the powder, but like I’ve stated I have oily skin.Will I purchase this again? Maybe, but I have nothing to compare it to. I can say I would rather have it than not have it. Removed 1 star because of the 24 hour claim that was extremely inaccurate. (I mean, does any makeup ever actually last as long as they say?)

I hear rave reviews about this product and a lot of Laura Geller things. I have to be honest I don't like these products. This translucent powder, pills on my skin almost immediately. I don't understand why people love this powder? I mean it's so quick okay but as I said it pills on the skin and looks like you have very dry skin. And it's not the cheapest brand out there as a matter of fact there's another brand out there larger size and a lot less money that does not make your skin look dry. This is the second Laura Geller item I have purchased and I have to say I am not impressed.

Been using Laura Mercier since the last 6 months. Until now, I was buying the translucent compact type powder which was $52 and then I explored more to find out similar options at cheaper price and this one definitely helped. I think both the powders have some shades and the one for $52 - its texture will change to powder anyways. So, I would recommend to go for this one, to save money and to get the same experience.

Don’t order this if you want TALC free, non comedogenic powder. The first ingredient is actually talc. But when you read the Amazon description it says that the first ingredient is MICA. Smh

Perfect for setting any part of your face. It sets it lightly. I have the pink version and it’s very brightening.
