Fast-setting, crystal clear, fast drying epoxy that sticks to hard plastics & clean glass sufaces.
Easy to use, easy to apply, clear drying epoxy, the sticks to most hard plastics. Low odor, about three minute pot life, and 24 hours til really tack-free and solid to go. Does require cleaning plastic surfaces with mild solvent or alcohol to remove any residue, or super light sanding to rough up the surface, followed by a clean wipe down or air blow off. Appears milky for the first minute or so after mixing, then becomes increasingly clear. Does start to get a bit stringy when your pot life is coming to an end, and it self-levels beautifully. Does have a tendency to travel during first 5 minutes, so watch the surfaces for horizontal curing. Have used up to 2 years past purchase date without problems, but pot life becomes less. Once it is mixed and starts to “string” and thicken, and slightly warm, you’re best to quickly finish up or start a new small batch. Mixing up a quantity over what you can apply in the first 2 minutes, is much harder to apply, and leveling becomes pretty-much a rework with a second coat. Most successful if applied In thinner built-up layers, rather than filling in craters or voids in one pass.Wet epoxy wipes with a tip in one direction. Cured might lift or peel with hobby knife. Sticks well to “clean” glass and roughed or cleaned hard plastics and metals. Note...Don’t mix up the red and black top-of-spout sealing caps when you put the resin and hardener away, or your in for some unplanned cutting and creative spout resealing! Excellent, clear, good bonding, low odor, epoxy adhesive that’s very easy to mix, apply, and cure. Weatherbug

Kinda works but not good for high temp use
Used it inside a dishwasher so they broke and peeled off quickly. Probably be a good and durable for extrerior use.

The duct tape of glue
Love my JB Weld. I recently used it in a novel application: to epoxy the bottom of a metal wash basin that has started to rust through. A very casual application lasts about 5 months, this in a basin which is used daily and often. If the surface was better prepared I wouldn't be surprised if it lasted much longer. The other thing I recently used it for was to repair our dishwasher, which has a pump that has a tab which had been partly broken off, allowing the head of the pump to open during operation.
