Twist-n-Sharp Manual Pencil Sharpener

I have used sharpeners from Bostitch for many years. I trust their quality and they always work well. My young grandson is starting to enjoy drawing, taking after his artistic mother, so i am filling his artist tote with a variety of new items he can use when he is with me. A good pencil sharpener is a basic need, and, like I mentioned, I trust the quality Bostitch name. This is a manual, plastic, pencil sharpener with easy to use ratchet technology. Great for small hands. Since he works with pencils and colored pencils, this will be perfect and compatible with both types.. Plus, blue is his favorite color. Yay! It is durable and makes little noise when in use…and is a great value for the money spent. I am very pleased with this sharpener and he will be, too. Highly recommend.

The ratchet action of these pencil sharpeners means that you don't have to spin the pencil around, you just go back and forth with pencil and the sharpener blade inside rotates itself. Great quality, great colors, easy to use. Highly recommend. There is an option to have a sharp point or a more rounded point, which I also find helpful. These sharpened pencils quickly and are very quiet.

I know this is just a pencil sharpener, but it's a pencil sharpener that's so well-designed, it makes me happy every time I use it. Just perfect! Sharpens the pencil super sharp, easy to clean, fast, easy, and just darn cute. I love this pencil sharpener and I want to be buried with it. Okay, thanks.

I bought these pencil sharpeners for my niece. She is 3. They work great. They are manual so she still learning how to use it properly but when i tried them it was perfectly. It comes with 3 of them so she can save them for later. They are small and compact so that when she is going to school, she can put them in her backpack without being a bulky item. They material is made out of plastic, so it is lightweight. It is easy to grip and use. The durability seems like it will last a long time. Great product. I recommend it

Sharpens very well but difficult to empty. The shavings get stuck on the other side of the sharpening part. I had to dig them out with a skinny screwdriver. Not too big of a deal as I plan to only use as backup for my electric sharpener.

Liked it so much I got a second one for the office. Puts a nice point on standard-sized pencils, or it doesn't, if that's what you want. It's small enough to easily fit in a pocket, and the shavings are held behind a hinged door- can't take it off so it can't be lost. Ended up with a blue one and a red one, both colors look good.

I love these pencil sharpeners. Perfect size and shaped to grip better while sharpening your pencil. They seem durable and they're easy to empty too. I've added one to my colored pencil pack and one to my drawing pack. I love that the mess stays put inside too until you're ready to empty it.

Best pencil sharpener for color pencils I ever got or used. I bought this to sharpen my very expensive color pencil set. I use when I do my coloring. I like the I can get my tips to a sharp point or I can have a blunt point. The ratchet sharpener is very fast at getting my pencils sharpened, but I don't use it that way often. I actually just twist my pencils one direction a few times and they are good to go.. it holds a lot of shavings I was surprised by that. actually I figured I would have to be dumping it every time I used it, but come to find out that is not the case at all. I hardly ever dump it. It takes me quite a few sharpenings before I realize that I need to dump it. then some shavings get stuck, but I expect that to happen with these type of sharpeners. Over all I like it. I got the blue one it's a pretty blue too. I choose to have a random color sent for just under $2.00 yes that is right just under two dollars I got a pencil sharpener that is well worth! it blew me away. I was not expecting much of this sharpener for the price of it. But it's a great one I will definitely be getting another one for my regular pencils, and for the kids to use at school! This sharpener works like a charm, and for the cost it can't be beat. Go ahead and get it because you will not regret it!

I was looking for ways for my child to sharpen his pencils at school easier. My child is having a hard time using a normal sharpener so I went to look for a different one and I found this! I am so happy that he finds it easier now to sharpen his pencils when he needs to. Came in a pack of 3 and bought it on sale so definitely a steal!

Works well which is better than many I’ve tried. I work in elementary school classes so sharpen a lot of pencils. Recommend.
