2.0m Combination Ladder

Needed a tall step ladder to reach a Velux window. This is ideal. Allows a reach much higher than a standard step ladder and also doubles as a tall extension ladder, and can be set up to work well on stairs too. You need to make sure that the catches have engaged but once they have it is fairly stable. It is not too heavy. The length chosen was a good combination of flexibility and size/weight for storage. As others have said it needed a wipe down before use as there were quite a lot of aluminium shavings on it

Quality product, really versatile and great for putting up Christmas lights. It would have been given 5 stars but as others have mentioned there is quite a lot of swarf / aluminum shavings left within the ladders which was within the plastic packaging and subsequently ended up all over my drive when I unpacked it. I thought I had got it all out but then I went to fit the stabilizer bar to the ladder and yet more came out when I removed the plastic feet from the bottom ladder

Wish I had bought this years ago brilliant ladder well made very sturdy easily good enough for home use , light weight, easy to use and good value for money

These ladders looked great and had a great review. So i ordered them. No issues with delivery or functionality, however, the ladders were wrapped in a shrink wrap package which was full of aluminium shards. About 2 - 3mm long - literally thousands of the things. I opened them them indoors initially - only to find a mass of shards on the floor and in the carpet - ideal with a small child around. I took the ladders outdoor and continued to open them. Imagine a mug full of aluminium shards and shavings randomly scattered over the ladders - also inside the ladders themselves - so everytime i move them a shed load of more shards falls out. Making these completely impractical for use around the house (unless you like razor sharp bits all over your house).I contacted Amazon and TB Davies regarding this - and received the response "sorry about that - definitely pass it back to someone senior" - this was over a month ago, zero response or attempt to remedy.The remedy is "hello sir, sorry about that - allow us to replace them with some ladders that won't distribute razor sharp bits of metal round your house, skin, clothes etc"Instead - silence. I would be wary.In the meantime - anyone want to buy some ladders ? :-)I haven't used the ladders as yet as i can't cope with the clean up required. In my opinion, these ladders were packed the second they were machined, and before they went through any sort of cleaning process.

Purchased these even though I read a few not so perfect reviews (against my usual judgment), but for the price they are terrific everything I need and light weight.

Seems an ok ladder but as other reviewers have mentioned it's absolutely covered in razor sharp aluminium swarf that gets everywhere and is almost impossible to clean up. The inside is full of it too so that more falls out every time you use it meaning this is an outdoor only ladder until I can figure out some way to clear it out. I imagine it could be quite dangerous if you have children or pets, surely there should have been some effort to remove this during the manufacturing process! I could understand a little bit but there's tons of the stuff!

decent stuff, tall and allows you to reach almost anywhere, I only do not like how the 'mechanism' stabilizing the ladder is a tape...

If you need a ladder around the house this is the one to buy, turned up today, super quick! I was stripping woodchip of the stairs and landing when it turned up, just reached the point of no more height with my existing ladders, these were put to work within 10 minutes, (standard modern house) and all the high points were completed this afternoon, I am an ex builder and rate these very highly, they are good quality and easy to adjust, I have other large ladders for getting on roofs etc, these look to be a good compromise for getting to upstairs windows etc, my longer ladders are too long, these will get a lot of use, just over 2m when closed so will store quite well and should reach about 5m, an online ladder supplier wanted the cost of similar ladders to these ladders as a delivery charge to the Isle of Man!!
