What does ewater+ mean ?

The WASHLET sprays the ceramic with a fine mist of water. The reason: Less sticks to a moist ceramic surface than a dry one. After use, the toilet is sprayed with electrolysed processed water, also known as ewater+. This water has an antibacterial effect. This antibacterial water thoroughly cleans the toilet. Regular water is electrolysed to give it a slightly acidic pH value. The ewater+ is completely environmentally friendly and can be returned to the water cycle without worry.

Other than normal cleaning, are there any maintenance or service that needs to be performed to keep this working? Parts to replace over time?

Hello, We recommend periodic cleaning of the outside as well as some of the filters in the unit. Your owner's manual will explain this routine maintenance and care. The deodorizer cartridge may need to be replaced after a few years if it become ineffective. You can view the owner's manual here: https://images-na.ssl-images-amazon.com/images/I/D16F9NW2kLS.pdf If you need additional assistance, please reach out to us directly.
