Timely book meets a critical need!
Love the approach the authors take in an effort to make evaluation reports more accessible to the primary target audience, parents of students with disabilities and teachers. The goals are well articulated with a number of specific areas for change toward meeting the goals. The beneficiaries will be parents and the teachers who help write IEPs. Well organized book addresses an important need!

Great advice and examples
This book was an interesting read and provides some great tips on making your school psych reports more "readable" by your audience. It also provides some great examples of full-length reports integrating the concepts discussed. I will absolutely be integrating some of these ideas into my psychoed reports this upcoming school year.

We all want to be legal
This is an easy read with explicit advise for writing a sound report. My favorite part is where it states that an ideal report is 5-7 pages in length (no more than 10 pages). I know people who are writing 20 page reports and our current caseloads are not allowing that kind of time. There may be some suggestions that do not fit with your district's/state's requirements, but overall it is a good resource to have on hand and share with your psychs.

Very useful book that takes much of the guesswork of writing ...
Very useful book that takes much of the guesswork of writing reports and shows you how to make them more user-friendly for first-level consumers (parents and teachers) who really need to understand what's going on, while not sacrificing the technical and legal imperatives.

Love it!
This book is amazingly helpful. I've already started incorporating some of the ideas into my reports. I highly suggest this book to anyone writing reports in the field of education. Also if have a chance to go to a training with Jeanne Anne Carriere, she is a great speaker and very helpful in answering questions.
