Bought this to wear as The Kaiser in a production of Oh What a Lovely War. It looks genuine from the audience and is well made, much easier than trying to make one and cheaper than hiring a real one. Highly recommended

Finished my outfit perfectly

My son thinks this helmet is excellent (and I look good in it too!). I had been looking at replicas on e-bay which are about £80. Now don't get me wrong you're not going to get away with this at a WW1 re-enactent event but it looks pretty good from a distance. I'm aiming to find or make a cover for it and see how that works. Now if you don't mind I'm off to violate Belgian neutrality! Richard

If you want to wear the helmet, you will probably need to add padding - get some from a craft store iin rolls or sheets - and rubber cement or spray adhesive it in place. I got mine in order to remove the "gold" decorations and re-apply them to a black motorcycle half-helmet. I ride an antique BMW (Bavarian Motor Works) motorcycle, and it looks great!

Ich habe die PIckelhaube eigentlich nur als Witzgeschenk gekauft. Der Versand ging super schnell und sie sieht auch relativ gut aus. Die goldene Bemalung ist an einigen Stellen zwar leicht abgeblättert gewesen, aber vielleicht war das ja auch gewollt, denn es sah doch sehr zeitgenössisch und gebraucht, wie frisch von der Front aus.

Para un rato está bien, es plástico normalito y ha acabado rompiéndose. Si lo quieres de adorno o para disfraz puntual vale, para un niño no le durará mucho.
