Rubber stretch bands are soo useful and easy to keep handy. The varying tensions allow for casual use and real muscle strain. There are wonderful Youtube sites that show the many uses of these kinds of bands. These are well made. Value is excellent. They work very well for intended use. I have also cut one of these so that it is one large open band - use it for long stretches. Yes, you can build muscles with these. The Youtube vids show how to properly use.

I love love love this set! They are not all willy-nilly stretchy stretching out. You have to work your arms out if you were going to use the bands that I purchased I love it. I use them with my bar or sometimes I just use them alone. They are amazing. very very durable. I love the quality.

The box seemed like it was previously opened, and when I opened the box the bag provided for the bands had a hole in it like it was burned or something. Kind of odd, but the bands seem to be OK!

You can get a workout right where you are. I was laying in bed and thought what if I put the loop through the bedframe? Exercised arms and back and core. Okay what if I just have one longer loop from the bedframe? Tighter abs, heart is all kinds of happy and I was able to watch my muscles in my legs engage. I'm clearly not an athlete, but the two lowest level bands work well for me. The lowest is for my shoulder therapy, which I have to do forever,( arthritis and hypermobile ). If you're not going to the gym and want something that will challenge you, these will do it. You might see my other reviews soon saying the same, I have gotten all different types of bands and they are worth it. These are strong, still I bought my set with the expectation that I would be replacing them with another set within a year. Completely worth it.

Excellent for dynamic warmup, or as travel gym equipment. I used my bands while on vacation for six weeks. I was able to get an efficient at home workout.

I have five stage kidney failure I've had shoulder surgeries I've had back surgery and these things work great I was in bed for a year and they helped me get out of bed now I'm able to walk with a walker I highly highly recommend these for anyone
