This smaller protractor is perfect for use in textbooks where a regular size protractor is too big. My son was having difficulty using one of those regular-sized protractors because the angles in his textbook were too small. He was getting frustrated, having to draw longer lines or just make a guess (rarely a good idea in math), so I ordered this small protractor for him hoping it would help. Well, it works perfectly! It’s just the right size, and he can easily determine the correct angle or draw the correct angle… right down to 1 degree. It’s clear, thick plastic, well made, and very durable. The numbers can be clearly read, and it’s easy to use. I think it will last quite a while. It also comes with a small clear ruler (which my kids love) and a few triangle tools (a 90, 45, 45 one and a 90, 30, 60 one). Very helpful tools for a geometry or pre-algebra course.

These are really great to use. I actually wanted to have some small rulers that are easy to carry around with my pens to use in my planner. I love that they are clear and have really helped when I needed a measuring tool too. They have both metric and imperial measurements on them too

I use these tools to make abstract art. Very precise angles. Very sturdy. Easy to use.

Considering the price point, this is a reasonably good product. I was looking for portability, something to throw in my kit of drawing & sketching tools. Haven't had it long enough to know how durable the markings might be. Since they are printed rather than etched, I suspect they'll wear off sooner than later. As others have noted, there is a rough spot where the pieces were removed from the mold spruces or runners during the manufacturing process. I was able to very gently smooth it out with a very fine emery board & buffing tool designed for finger nails but used by modelers. (No longer as inexpensive as before.) Bottom line: just fine for their intended purpose.

I'm going to start by saying I have no idea why people complain about the size of this set when it is clearly written and obvious by the 6" on the ruler, the longest object in the set. Use your sense and reading skills before you buy. Look at the photos. Of course this is small. That is what I needed. I bought this to put in my needlework bag and then found the items also work in my pencil bag for sketching. I have nice, clean lines, good 90 degree corners, etc. I did not have any bumps on the edges, and while that is NOT forgiveable, if I had, I would have used a nail file to smooth them. The thing that does bother me is that the numbers and lines are all flat. Nothing raised, so that the numbers (from past experience) tend to rub off and then you are left with a useless set. However, I did try using my thumb nail on one line and I was not able to scratch off the ink, so maybe I am worrying about nothing. I paid $4.19 for the set and feel it is a reasonable price for the set AND shipping, which was built into the price. I also know Amazon will take this back without a return fee,"Free Returns", which is listed on the product page as well, so you really lose nothing if you want to try it.

These are on the smaller side but they work well for my needs.

Everything that you need for math and drafting class!. I like the clear feature of the ruler and and triangles makes it easy for technical drawing and it comes in this portable clear case too which is convenience to carry around in a briefcase. Highly recommended.

Thin plastic implements are stored in a simple sleeve and arrived broken. Impossible to request a refund so this is a net loss. Not buying again from seller or Amazon for this item.
