Q: what is the elasticity percentage?

I'm sorry, I don't know the exact elasticity percentage of it but I can tell you what I used it for. I repaired some half chaps (leather leg coverings worn when you ride horses) and sewed the elastic on each side of the half chap bottoms. The elastic goes underneath your boot sole to keep the chaps from riding up your leg. The elastic is very thick good quality. Thinner craft store elastic would not hold up. I hope you could understand what I was talking about.
