Yes- temperature settings are very accurate. The thermostat will keep up with the food added to the oil.

Is this wok pre-seasoned? 14-inch cook for how many people?

The NuWave Wok does not come pre-seasoned. However, Seasoning instructions are included in the Owner's Manual. The 14-inch cook is a good size for a family of four.

Do you have to turn the wok to get the sides hot?

The carbon steel wok is custom-made for the Mosaic’s induction base, ensuring the curvature of the wok and the base match perfectly. This means that the total surface of the wok comes in contact with the induction surface, ensuring every part of the wok heats up quickly and evenly every time.

Purchased this 4 months ago for $99.99 and wanted to buy another one. Why a $50.00 increase?

Lol now in January 2023 it’s $200, $300 for the whole kit. I would guess the reason is 1) demand 2) inflation and supply chain crap 3) profiteering — see 1.
