Yielded well in my indoor planter. I use these in many of my Thai dishes...but they are really great for Drunken Noodles. Easy to grow and easy to manage.

I got the seeds because in my area it's almost impossible to find fresh Thai basil and I like Hot Basil Chicken. It seems like a high percentage of the seeds sprouted without having to heat the container.I only got them a week ago, so it remains to be seen if the sprouts develop into large healthy plants.

These are great seeds, there are lots of seeds in the packages and they have germinated well for me and are growing nicely. I would recommend them!

I have never grown basil from seed before, so I appreciate the information on the back of the packet, which provides information about the following:--Germination time (5-10 days)--Harvest time (50-75 days)--USDA Zones (9-11--Plant width (18-20 in)--Plant height (18-20 in)--Planting depth (1/8 in)--Life cycle (Perennial)--Sun (Full, Partial Sun)That's useful because I didn't know, for example, that this plant could grow in partial sun.The two seed packets arrived in a small Ziploc plastic bag labeled "packaged for 2024 season." That's why I gave these seeds 4 rather than 5 stars. We're now in 2025, so I would expect to receive seeds packaged for 2025. However, with luck, these should still be fine.

Very happy with these seeds so far! I have had an outstanding germination rate near 100%. I used compressed coco plugs in a humidity dome setup and within just a few days have had great success starting these seeds. Basil seeds are tiny specks so each pack contains an immense number of seeds, more than enough to fill most gardens. Very pleased with the value and excited to fill my garden with a new variety of basil this summer.
